Can I get an UNI-GAUGE examination centre of my choice?

You can choose the Test City from the available list of test cities in the online application form. The test cities are allotted to candidates on first come first serve basis. However, ERA Foundation reserves the right to allot any other test city other than the city chosen by the candidate. Each city can have one or more centers. The allocation of centers is done through a computer assisted randomization/optimization process. The allocated centre will be communicated on the online test admission ticket (online TAT).

How will I know the Uni-GAUGE exam centre allotted to me?

Uni-GAUGE exam centre will be allotted along with the admit card. Candidates are advised to check the admit card to know about the exam centre and other crucial details. Apart from name and address of allotted Uni-GAUGE exam centre, the admit card comprises details such as exam date, timing, exam day guidelines etc. Date for admit card release is published along with the information brochure on the official website. Candidates have to download the admit card for Uni-GAUGE after logging and providing details such as Uni-GAUGE application ID and password.

Can I carry the soft copy of the Uni-GAUGE admit card instead of the hard copy?

No, only the hard copy of the Uni-GAUGE admit card is acceptable at the exam hall. Soft copy will not be accepted. Candidates must download the Uni-GAUGE admit card and take its print.

What is the importance of giving Uni-GAUGE exam with COMEDK?

The importance is only that the number of colleges available to the candidates after giving both Uni-GAUGE and COMEDK exam increases. Candidates can apply for admisison in both COMEDK member colleges with COMEDK UGET scores and ERA Foundation member colleges with Uni-GAUGE scores.

How many Exams do I have to attend if I want to apply for both COMEDK UGET and Uni-GAUGE E Exam?

You will be attending one exam only. Previously these exams were being conducted as 2 separate exams. COMEDK UGET was conducted as an offline entrance exam in Karnataka. Uni-GAUGE E was being done as an online entrance across India. On the scheduled day, these two exams will be conducted on the "Same Day" during the "Same Session" and as "One Combined Exam". This will reduce the need for students to prepare and attend multiple exams.

If COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE are held as the same exam then why are there 2 separate scorecards?

Here is the deal: Both COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE are the same exams. No 2 seperate exam are held. But, 2 seperate scorecards come out at the time of result announcemnet. This is because the COMEDK UGET scorecard is accepted by COMEDK particiapting colleges that are primaraly from South India. While the Uni-GAUGE scorecard is accepted by colleges across India. Candidates are encouraged to apply for both Uni-GAUGE and COMEDK, because there scope of college choices inscreases. Candidates can apply for admission in both COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE participating colleges.

In case of problem in computer during the Uni-GAUGE exam, will there be somebody to assist?

Yes, each lab will have an invigilator to assist the candidate in case of any problems with the computer. Applicants appearing in the exam are advised to check all the hardware before commencement of the exam. In case of any issue with hardware during Uni-GAUGE exam, candidates are advised to contact the invigilator for help.

Does ERA Foundation send a hard copy of the Uni-GAUGE score card to the candidates?

No. Uni-GAUGE scorecards have to be downloaded and printed from the official website. Scorecards copies will NOT be dispatched. Candidates must log in using their application number/seq number and password to check the result of Uni-GAUGE. The scores and ranks secured in the examination are released through Uni-GAUGE results. Candidates will be required to apply to their preferred participating member University/institution with their test scores once the member University/institution issues notifications. In case of a tie in test scores, the same will be resolved by the criteria pre-published by the Universities/Institutions as part of their admission process.

If I want to attend only COMEDK UGET or only Uni-GAUGE E, will it be conducted on a separate date?

No, COMEDK UGET and Uni-GAUGE E will be conducted as a combined exam.

It is upto you. One single form is released for both the exams. Candidates can select in the online form, that whether they want to appear in both COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE exam, or in any one of them. Both the exams are held at national level, however, COMEDK scores are accepted by colleges across South India. But, Uni-GAUGE scores are accepted by colleges across India.

Is the Uni-GAUGE exam open only to some students of any particular state?

No, Uni-GAUGE is open to all eligible students from all states of India. Candidates who have passed the 10+2 exam can apply. The last two years of study shall comprise Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, (Biology or Bio-technology instead of chemistry for BE/B.Tech and Bio-Technology) or any other technical vocational courses as one of the optional subjects, with English as a compulsory subject. The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST, and OBC candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology or any other technical vocational courses as the optional subjects.

When you first scan the images to upload in the Uni-GAUGE form, use the JPG file format to save it, in this way there is no need to change the format. To resize te image, use Microsoft Paint to change the size with the resize button. or You can use many online tools available over the internet to resize the image or change the formats.

How can I practice for Uni-GAUGE Computer Based Test (CBT)?

Candidates can practice for the Uni-GAUGE CBT through web based mock test which is made available on the official website as per the schedule. Uni-GAUGE mock tests are released for test-takers before the final exam is held to make candidates aware of the computer-based test. How many times can I register for Uni-GAUGE E exam?

As many times as you wish; but the E-mail ID once used for making a request cannot be used again. Also the Application fee is non-refundable and hence each Application has to be accompanied with a fresh Application fee. There is also the danger of multiple Applications being rejected; therefore the candidates are advised to be extremely careful while applying.

I have not received the e-mail post Uni-GAUGE registration online, what to do now?

Candidates need to contact the ERA Foundation Helpdesk to seek clarification and to know about the way forward. After successful registration, candidates will receive the Uni-GAUGE login credentials (user ID and password) on their registered mail ID. Uni-GAUGE 2026: The Era Foundation has announced the Uni-GAUGE 2026 exam date. As per the schedule, the exam will be conducted on May 9, 2026. UniGauge Registration 2026 will start on February 6. The application form will be available online on the website unigauge.com.

What is Uni-GAUGE?

Uni-GAUGE is a national-level common entrance exam for the 40+ participating institutes of the ERA Foundation. The exam is held in computer-based test mode for admission to BE/BTech courses offered across the 40+ institutes. The exam is held at the national level, and the 10+2 passed/appearing candidates can take it. COMEDK UGET and Uni-GAUGE E are conducted as a combined exam. The candidates who take the exam have to further apply separately with their Uni-GAUGE scorecard to individual member universities of ERA Foundation. Counselling is held separately by individual Universities.

Before applying for the Uni-GAUGE exam, candidates must check the eligibility criteria carefully. The criteria are given below:

Qualifying exam: The qualifying examination prescribed for admission for BE/BTech is the second PUC or class 12 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by the State / Central Government.

Subject studied in Class 12: The last two years of study shall comprise Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, (Biology or Bio-technology instead of chemistry for BE/B.Tech and Bio-Technology) or any other technical vocational courses as one of the optional subjects, with English as a compulsory subject.

The online Uni-GAUGE 2026 admit card is made available under the applicant login of the Uni-GAUGE website. Candidates appearing for the Test should download and obtain a printout of the admit card. No admit card is dispatched either by email, post or courier or in person to the candidates under any circumstances.

Candidates are not allowed to take the Uni-GAUGE 2026 exam without the printout of the admit card along with other documents indicated thereon. Also, candidates have to retain the admit card for counselling until the completion of the admission process. Also, candidates have to ensure that the invigilator signs the admit card of the candidates.

Uni-GAUGE 2026 Answer Key

The Uni-GAUGE answer key is released on the official website which has the correct answer to all questions asked in the exam. To challenge the Uni-GAUGE 2026 answer key, candidates have to access the applicant login using his/ her user ID and password and fill the query in the challenge form. While challenging, candidates have to indicate the grievance and with all necessary enclosures.

Uni-GAUGE 2026 answer key challenge fee: Clarification regarding the provisional answer key should be submitted online in the format made available with a fee of INR 500 per clarification. Only if the clarification sought is upheld, the money would be refunded in full after the Uni-GAUGE E-2026 process is completed. Any request for clarification of provisional answer keys beyond the last date as stipulated in the calendar of events will not be entertained.

Note: Seeking clarification as above is only for provisional answer keys. Such clarifications are not entertained for the Final answer keys/Test Scores and thereafter the Rank. Any verifications/clarifications sought by the applicants will be put forth to the UNI-GAUGE’s Academic Committee for their consideration and the decision given by the committee shall be final and binding on all.

Uni-GAUGE Results 2026

DeskCalendar Result: May ' 26

The Educational Rating and Assessment Foundations (ERA) releases Uni-GAUGE 2026 results on its official website. Candidates must login using their application number/seq number and password to check the result of Uni-GAUGE 2026. The scores and ranks secured in the examination are released through the Uni-GAUGE 2026 result. Candidates will also be able to download the Uni-GAUGE 2026 scorecard soon in online mode. Candidates will be required to apply to their preferred participating member University/institution with their test scores once the member University/institution issues notifications. In case of a tie in test scores, the same will be resolved by the criteria pre-published by the Universities/Institutions as part of their admission process.

Uni-GAUGE 2026 Counselling

After the release of the final Uni-GAUGE (Under–Graduate Engineering Entrance Exam) scorecard, candidates will be able to proceed further with the admission procedure. The candidates have to further apply separately with their Uni-GAUGE scorecard to individual member universities of ERA Foundation. Uni-GAUGE counselling is held separately by individual Universities.
