Uni-GAUGE 2025: The Era Foundation will conduct the Uni-GAUGE 2025 exam for admission to more than 40 institutes that are members of the ERA Foundation that offer BE/BTech courses. Uni-GAUGE 2025 exam will be held in May 2025. Candidates who have passed or will be passing 10+2 in 2025 can apply for Uni-GAUGE. The exam is held across around 180 cities in India and in computer-based test mode. Questions in the exam are asked from 10+2 level physics, chemistry and mathematics.

You will be attending one exam only. Previously these exams were being conducted as 2 separate exams. COMEDK UGET was conducted as an offline entrance exam in Karnataka. Uni-GAUGE E was being done as an online entrance across India. On the scheduled day, these two exams will be conducted on the “Same Day” during the “Same Session” and as “One Combined Exam”. What is Uni-GAUGE?
Uni-GAUGE is a national-level common entrance exam for the 40+ participating institutes of the ERA Foundation. The exam is held in computer-based test mode for admission to BE/BTech courses offered across the 40+ institutes. The exam is held at the national level and the 10+2 passed/appearing candidates can take it. COMEDK UGET and Uni-GAUGE E are conducted as a combined exam. The candidates who take the exam have to further apply separately with their Uni-GAUGE scorecard to individual member universities of ERA Foundation. Counselling is held separately by individual Universities.

Q: What is the importance of giving Uni-GAUGE exam with COMEDK?
The importance is only that the number of colleges available to the candidates after giving both Uni-GAUGE and COMEDK exam increases. Candidates can apply for admisison in both COMEDK member colleges with COMEDK UGET scores and ERA Foundation member colleges with Uni-GAUGE scores.
Q: How many times can I register for Uni-GAUGE E exam?
As many times as you wish; but the E-mail ID once used for making a request cannot be used again. Also the Application fee is non-refundable and hence each Application has to be accompanied with a fresh Application fee. There is also the danger of multiple Applications being rejected; therefore the candidates are advised to be extremely careful while applying.

Q: Is the Uni-GAUGE exam open only to some students of any particular state?
No, Uni-GAUGE is open to all eligible students from all states of India. Candidates who have passed the 10+2 exam can apply. The last two years of study shall comprise Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, (Biology or Bio-technology instead of chemistry for BE/B.Tech and Bio-Technology) or any other technical vocational courses as one of the optional subjects, with English as a compulsory subject. The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST, and OBC candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually. It is upto you. One single form is released for both the exams. Candidates can select in the online form, that whether they want to appear in both COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE exam, or in any one of them. Both the exams are held at national level, however, COMEDK scores are accepted by colleges across South India. But, Uni-GAUGE scores are accepted by colleges across India.
Q: What are the minimum marks required in Uni-Gauge/COMEDK exam to qualify?
In COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE exam there are no minimum marks required to qualify. All the candidates who take the exam are provided rank. However, the admisison to colleges will be beased on the ranks. Thus, better the ranks, better are th chances of getting top tier colleges and preferred course.
Uni-GAUGE 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the Uni-GAUGE exam, candidates must check the eligibility criteria carefully. The criteria are given below:
Qualifying exam: The qualifying examination prescribed for admission for BE/BTech is the second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by the State / Central Government.

Candidates need to contact the ERA Foundation Helpdesk to seek clarification and to know about the way forward. After successful registration, candidates will receive the Uni-GAUGE login credentials (user ID and password) on their registered mail ID. Candidates will have to use these credentials to log in and fill Uni-GAUGE application form.
Q: I cannot view the 'submit' or 'Save' button in the online Uni-GAUGE application form, what to do now?
In this case, please check the version of browser that you are currently using. Kindly use Explorer (version 10 and above) or Mozilla Firefox (48 and above) or Google Chrome (50 and above) to fill in the Uni-GAUGE application Form. Also clear your browsing history and cache and retry.

Q: I realized that I made an error while filling the Uni-GAUGE application form. What do I do?
If you have not clicked on the “Submit” Button, you can edit the Uni-GAUGE application form any number of times. However information provided at the time of registration cannot be changed later on. If you have already completed your online application form and have submitted the form online, then no changes can be made. You have the option to fill a new application form with an alternate email id. However please note that fee once paid is non-refundable. Hence candidates are advised to review all information in application form before clicking on “submit” button.
Q: How can I change the format and size of the my scanned images to upload in the Uni-GAUGE application form?
When you first scan the images to upload in the Uni-GAUGE form, use the JPG file format to save it, in this way there is no need to change the format. To resize te image, use Microsoft Paint to change the size with the resize button.

Q: Can I get an UNI-GAUGE examination centre of my choice?
You can choose the Test City from the available list of test cities in the online application form. The test cities are allotted to candidates on first come first serve basis. However, ERA Foundation reserves the right to allot any other test city other than the city chosen by the candidate. Each city can have one or more centers. The allocation of centers is done through a computer assisted randomization/optimization process. The allocated centre will be communicated on the online test admission ticket (online TAT).
Q: Can I carry the soft copy of the Uni-GAUGE admit card instead of the hard copy?
No, only the hard copy of the Uni-GAUGE admit card is acceptable at the exam hall. Soft copy will not be accepted. Candidates must download the Uni-GAUGE admit card and take its print. To download the Uni-GAUGE admit card, candidates have to visit the official website of the exam. Navigate to the View and Print option, and click on ‘Print hall ticket'. Enter the required details to login. After entering the details, hit the ‘Print hall ticket' button. Uni-GAUGE hall ticket will be displayed on the screen. Download and take a printout for reference.
Uni-GAUGE 2025 Admit Card
The online Uni-GAUGE 2025 admit card is made available under the applicant login of the Uni-GAUGE website. Candidates appearing for the Test should download and obtain a printout of the admit card. No admit card is dispatched either by email, post or courier or in person to the candidates under any circumstances.

Yes, candidates have to carry au nique photo ID proof in the original that was mentioned in the application. A candidate who does not possess the Online TAT downloaded and Unique Photo ID in original shall not be admitted to the Examination Hall under any circumstances. The candidate must show, on demand, the Online TAT and the Unique Photo ID proof in the original whenever asked at the exam center.
Q: What if I forget to carry the Uni-GAUGE admit card to the exam centre?
In case of failure to produce the Uni-GAUGE admit card, the Uni-GAUGE exam authorities may cancel the candidature and not allow him/her to appear for the test.
Uni-GAUGE 2025 Answer Key
The Uni-GAUGE answer key is released on the official website which has the correct answer to all questions asked in the exam. To challenge the Uni-GAUGE 2025 answer key candidates have to access the applicant to login using his/ her user ID and password and fill the query in the challenge form. While challenging, candidates have to indicate the grievance and with all necessary enclosures.
Uni-GAUGE 2025 answer key challenge fee: Clarification regarding the provisional answer key should be submitted online in the format made available with a fee of INR 500 per clarification. Only if the clarification sought is upheld, the money would be refunded in full after the Uni-GAUGE E-2025 process is completed. Any request for clarification of provisional answer keys beyond the last date as stipulated in the calendar of events will not be entertained.
Note: Seeking clarification as above is only for provisional answer keys. Such clarifications are not entertained for the Final answer keys/Test Scores and thereafter the Rank. Any verifications/clarifications sought by the applicants will be put forth to the UNI-GAUGE’s Academic Committee for their consideration and the decision given by the committee shall be final and binding on all.
Q: If I have 5 clarifications in the Uni-GAUGE provisional answer key, then do I have to make online payment of INR 500 or INR 2500?
Candidates have to make online payment of INR 2500 (INR 500 per clarification+ taxes) along with the relevant details as mentioned in the online form. To seek clarification or challenge the Uni-GAUGE answer key, candidates have to fill the objection form by logging in through their application seq. no and password. candidates are also required to provide a supporting document/proof for objection along with a fee of INR 500 per question.
Q: Would I get a refund for the amount, which I have sent along with the Uni-GAUGE answer key challenge?
Candidates would be entitled for a refund only to the extent their Uni-GAUGE answer key challenge is/are upheld by the ERA Foundation academic committee. The refund would be made to the candidate/s account after the Uni-GAUGE Exam process is completed.

Candidates must login using their application number/seq number and password to check the result of Uni-GAUGE 2025. The scores and ranks secured in the examination will be released through the Uni-GAUGE 2025 result. Candidates will also be able to download the Uni-GAUGE 2025 scorecard soon in online mode. Candidates will be required to apply to their preferred participating member University/institution with their test scores once the member University/institution issues notifications. In case of a tie in test scores, the same will be resolved by the criteria pre-published by the Universities/Institutions as part of their admission process.

Q: If COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE are held as the same exam then why are there 2 separate scorecards?
Here is the deal:
- Both COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE are the same exams. No 2 seperate exam are held.
- But, 2 seperate scorecards come out at the time of result announcemnet. This is because the COMEDK UGET scorecard is accepted by COMEDK particiapting colleges that are primaraly from South India.
- While the Uni-GAUGE scorecard is accepted by colleges across India.
Candidates are encouraged to apply for both Uni-GAUGE and COMEDK, because there scope of college choices inscreases. Candidates can apply for admission in both COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE participating colleges.
Uni-GAUGE 2025 Counselling
After the release of the final Uni-GAUGE (Under–Graduate Engineering Entrance Exam) scorecard, candidates will be able to proceed further with the admission procedure. The candidates have to further apply separately with their Uni-GAUGE scorecard to individual member universities of ERA Foundation. Uni-GAUGE counselling is held separately by individual Universities.
