Jamia Hamdard University Delhi BA LLB Courses & Fees 2024: Eligibility & Selection

In order to get admission to a five-year BA LLB course at Jamia Hamdard, candidates have to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Candidates who passed Class 12 with minimum 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for the course. Further, candidates have to qualify for CLAT exam with a valid score. After the result declaration, candidates can apply on the university's official website. Based on the past academic records and entrance exam scores of candidates, the university will release a selection list of candidates. The shortlisted candidates have to appear for a counselling process and present the relevant documents for the verification.

The CLAT 2025 results will be released on December 10, 2024. The NLU Consortium released the CLAT Counselling Schedule 2024 along with the CLAT Result. CLAT Counselling Registration Process 2025 will be done and only those candidates who register will be allowed to appear in CLAT 2025 Counselling. CLAT Exam 2025 was held in offline pen-paper-based mode. CLAT 2025 exam was conducted in more than 141 exam centers in India. Candidates need to secure a good rank in CLAT Exam 2025 to get admission into top NLUs.

Jamia Hamdard is a government-funded university. It offers a five-year integrated course of BA LLB via its School of Law, Hamdard Institute of Legal Studies and Research. The total seat intake for this course is 120, where seats are reserved in a 50-50 ratio to Muslim and other candidates. The university provides facilities such as Smart Classrooms,  Moot Court Room,  Seminar Hall, etc., for the smooth and advanced learning of candidates. The Law department of the university promotes practical training and the promotion of research in all branches of law and allied subjects to develop the critical thinking of candidates.

Jamia Hamdard provides admission to BA LLB course based on a valid CLAT score. Candidates having CLAT scores are given preference in the selection process. However, as per the admission process, candidates are also given direct admission to BA LLB without CLAT score, if the seats remain vacant for the CLAT applicants or there is a delay in declaration of CLAT result. The university selects Non-CLAT candidates based on their merit in the first five subjects in the last qualifying examination. However, CLAT qualifiers will be given preference over Non-CLAT candidates.

For admission to a five-year integrated course of BA LLB, Jamia Hamdard University accepts a valid score of CLAT exam. This exam is particularly conducted for aspirants of integrtaed Law course across India. To apply for CLAT, candidates have to fill CLAT application form and pay an application fee for INR 4,000. The minimum eligibility criteria to for BA LLB course is to pass Class 12 with minimum 50% aggregate in the relevant stream.
