Jamia Hamdard MD Admission 2022
In the field of Medicine, Jamia Hamdard offers three-year MD programmes across eight specialisations along with an MD under six specialisation, respectively. More details around these courses are as follows:
Annual Fee: INR 10.5-40 lakh per year
Selection: NEET-PG followed by counselling conducted by Directorate General of Health Services
Reservation: 50% of the seats in the these courses are reserved for Muslim minority
Eligibility for MD/MS:
- A pass in MBBS degree/provisional pass certificate recognised as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956
- Must possess a permanent/ provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the MCI or State Medical Council
- Must have completed the duration of their internship on or before June 30 of the year of admission
Eligibility for MD Unani:
A pass in BUMS with at least 50% aggregate from Jamia Hamdard along with one year of compulsory internship. The student must have also appeared for AYUSH PGET 2021 and subsequent centralised counselling conducted by Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India.

NOTE: No stipend is available for the students of MD (Moalajat), MD (IlmulAdvia) and MD (Tahaffuzi-wa-Samaji Tib) from the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. , Jamia Hamdard University, however, may consider providing stipend depending on the availability of resources of INR 10,000 per month to a few deserving students.
