Placements: M.A in philosophy is a theoretical course in social sciences. So it doesn't have any kind of placements like professional courses. It is a quality course at our University. There are no placements in our college.

Placements: Placements have not yet begun as the first batch will pass out in 2023. However JNU SC&SS has a proven track record of placements with top companies like Amazon etc. Coming regularly. We have hope that in the near future we would get decent placement opportunities. The staff and admin of the university are dedicated to get the students placements. An active placement cell has been created.

Placements: In JNU, mostly students aim to become a teacher, so they are not interested in campus selection. But some companies visit our university, and the salary package offered is up to 7-10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. In our university, some students got internships in the best company.

Placements: Most students do not wish to be placed as JNU itself is a life time placement. There is complete freedom to do anything. One can eat anything, drink anything smoke anything. In fact it is so free that everything is paid by people of India. Infrastructure, rooms etc. Its like 5 star property with just 10 rs a month. Food electricity every thing is Free. In fact you get paid for just passing time and enjoying discussing high level issues like How we can divide India in smaller states.

Placements: JNU doesn't have a placement cell. Though students themselves apply at various firms and think tanks. Most of the student go for post doctoral studies in JNU, DU or South Asian University. Some go for civil service exam preparation. Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 13 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 6.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 9.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are EXL, Infosys, IIP, Wells Fargo. The top roles offered are Consultant, Analyst, Associates. Almost 80% of the students got an internship from companies like Wells Fargo, IIP, Foundation for MSME clusters.

Placements: Currently, no batch has graduated from the stream. The second batch was inducted this year into the university, so there are no placements as of now. Few students got great internships opportunities. A student went to NUS Singapore and won the Robotics Hackathon. Another student bagged an internship in game development in a unity-based game company.

Placements: The placement cell is very good in the campus. Many companies come every year. Placements takes place at different schools and departments like economics, computer Science etc. When we talk about economics department, the average package is around 10 lpa. Also there is a central placement cell which was started in 2017.

Placements: It was never a job oriented course. It was a rich learning experience. There is no placement cell. This is not a professional course. But it is good for those who look towards academics as a career option. Almost all of us are placed in good universities now across India from centers of geography to population, development studies etc.

Placements: Most of my seniors in the college are pursuing PhD in prestigious institutions, and some have joined JRF. Some of my seniors are applying for PhD in other countries like US, Germany, UK and Canada. One of my seniors is pursuing PhD. Currently, a placement cell is being established in the department of biotechnology.

As the M.Tech and MS courses are there from the past ten to fifteen years, their placements are good. Getting placements Companies like Google, Amazon and, Apple is no big deal for them.
