There are over 965 seats for MA courses. The seat reservation policy is carried out as per a set of rules. Reservation of seats in various programmes of study for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (Non Creamy Layer (NCL) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category is 15%, 7.5%, 27% and 10%, respectively. As per the provisions of Rights of Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Act, 2016, not less than 5% seats are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities.
In 2021, the closing rank for BTech in General AIl India Quota was 24730. In 2022, it increased to 30177. JNU CUET UG cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to various UG courses and specialisations. The cutoff was released for different categories such as General, OBC and SC categories belonging to the All India quota. The cutoff scores varied between 33.8 and 74.4, among the General AI category candidates. Among the OBC AI category candidates, the closing ranks varied between 29.16 and 69.64. The branch-wise cutoff ranks for the General AI category has been provided in the table below:
Only the students who appeared for CUET-UG can apply for JNU UG & Certificate of To be eligible to apply for JNU UG & Certificate of Proficiency (COP) courses, students need to first appear for the CUET-UG exam and qualify on the basics of the cutoff list released, as the selection is according to the CUET score and deprivation points.
