JIIT UGET BSc 2024: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

JIIT UGET exam is conducted as a computer based test at JIIT campus in Noida. Candidates who apply for the JIIT UGET exam will find the exam offline at the test centre. JIIT B.Tech and Integrated M.Tech are offered through two modes of admission i.e merit-based and JEE Main based. Direct mode: Candidates are offered direct admission based on their score in the class 12 exam. Candidates must score 75% marks or equivalent, in aggregate in three subjects i.e. Mathematics, Physics, and English.

JIIT UGCET: Class 12 passed out students can apply for the JIIT UGCET entranxce exam. JIIT conducted the UGET admission in two rounds, first round was conducted for all the candidates who completed their registration upto 30 April. While the second admission round was conducted for the candidates who applied inn May 2024. 

CUET (UG): Students can also apply for the CUET exam. Common University Entrance Test also known as CUET UG is a national level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission to UG courses offered by participating institutes. Students should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board in Science or a relevant stream to be admitted to bachelor’s degree programs in the Central Universities.

Direct admission is availabe under the 'Direct Admission' scheme. Under the scheme, students with 75% marks or equivalent, in aggregate in three subjects i.e. Mathematics, Physics and English in the class 12 exam. Candidates securing below 75% can take the JIIT UGET entrance exam and secure a valid score to meet the merit criteria. JIIT Noida also accepts CUET exam for admission to its BSc programme. 

JIIT Noida offers BSc/ BSc (Hons) and BBA course through JIIT UGET scores. Interested candidates can apply to JIIT Noida BSc/ Bsc (Hons) and BBA courses in online/ offline mode before May 31. The institute will be conducting, JIIT UGET exam in two rounds. candidates who have applied before 1 May will be considered in Round 1, while the candidates who apply by May 30 will be considered for Round 2. The Round 1 and Round 2 of PGET exam is scheduled for 13 May and 10 Jun, respectively. Further the admission offers for the JIIT MSc and Mtech will be sent out by 30 June.

The difficulty standards of JIIT UGET is similar to any other university level BBA entrance exam, such as LUACMAT, and Lucknow University UGPET. However, candidates who prepare well for the exam will find the JIIT UGET exam easy. While the candidates who appear for the exam without any preparation may find it moderate to difficult.

Candidates aspiring for BBA and BSc courses offered by JIIT can get admissions based on the merit of JIIT UGET exam or CUET UG exam conducted by NTA.

No negative marking prevails in the JIIT UGET exam. Therefore, candidates can attempt all questions and rely on guess work for the questions they do not know the answers for. Jaypee Institute of Information Technology may change the JIIT UGET marking scheme in future exam sessions. Theerefore, candidates are advised to keep track of the latest JIIT UGET exam pattern.

Candidates have to pay INR 500 as the application fee for JIIT UGET. Candidates applying for the BBA/BSc admission via the CUET UG exam are also required to pay INR 500 as the application fee. No fee concession is available for reserved categories.

Candidates will find the following sections in the JIIT UGET exam:

• Quantitative Aptitude
• General Knowledge
• English Language
• Logical Reasoning

Each section oif JIIT UGET will have a total of 25 questions.

Applicants can pay the JIIT UGET application fee through both online and offline methods. The offline payment can be made through Demand Draft, while online payment options include debit card, credit card, or UPI.

The admission process at Jaypee Business School begins with the release of  JBS application forms on the official website and ends with the acceptance of the admission offer by the selected candidate. The step-wise Jaypee Business School admission process is mentioned below:

Step 1: Candidates need to apply for their desired course through the JBS official website or by visiting the Admission Help Desk / Registrar’s Office at JIIT, A-10, Sector-62, Noida, U.P. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying.

Step 2: JBS conducts multiple selection rounds to shortlist candidates for final admission to the MBA course. In the first round candidates need to appear for the relevant entrance exam, as per their selected course. Further, shortlisted candidates are called for the GDPI round.

For JBS BBA and PhD admissions, only entrance-exam scores are considered.

The candidates who perform well in all selection rounds are given the final admission offer.

Step 3: Selected candidates are required to pay a partial academic fee for semester 1 as mentioned in the Admission Offer Letter to secure their seat. The balance amount will be payable at the time of registration.

Step 1: Log on to www.jiit.ac.in and click on the apply online link of the related program or directly logon to www.getadmissions.com/jaypee (authorized agency for online applications).
Step 2: Follow the on-screen prompts to fill up the application form and make the payment through Credit card/Debit card/Net banking/UPI. The application fee is in the range of INR 1,200 to INR 500 as per course requirements.

Step 3: Once the payment has been successfully made, the candidate shall be allotted an Application ID, which must be preserved for future reference. The candidate shall also get an e-mail of confirmation.
Step 4: During the online application, candidates are required to upload a passport-size photograph of self and signatures of self and their parent.
