The best college in the region.

Placements: The placements are moderate. A hefty number of companies visit the campus but placements are declining these days. For our senior batch, it was life-saving as the placements were good, but for our batch, they are declining. However, efforts are made by the management to place most of the students. This is appreciated. But Jaypee is a brand so placements are not a big issue; most of the students get placed by the end of the year.

Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, Guna, Madhya pradesh at a glance

Placements: For all branches, companies do come in university but for CSE branch placement I more in comparison with other branches. For mechanical branch companies like ADANI come and for CSE branch companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Ericsson, Wipro, Accenture, IBM, Deloitte, Zomato, Squad Run, Gemalto and Zycus came. Chemical branch companies like Nirma and Jaypee Group also hire students.

I am dissatisfied because of faculty. Very good infrastructure but education should improve.

Placements: The placement of my batch was good but it went bad for the next batches. It has increased the number of intake by reducing the admission criteria where 12th pass outs could get direct admission. The placement was 50-60%. Very few big companies, that too for CSE, visit the campus. Mass recruiters like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, etc. also visit. The big companies' recruitment process is centralized where all three branches of JP take part and almost all the selected students are from the Noida bra...

Good college, if only the placements can improve a little.

Placements: The placements were average at best. Most of the companies that came on the campus for recruitment were mass recruiters like Infosys and Cognizant. The number of core mechanical and civil companies were was very low. The only branches that have good placements are CSE and ECE. A lot of companies came offering job roles in IT, and some were offering packages as high as 20 lakhs.

Great facilities of practical labs

Placements: The placement process has started in our batch. The two big IT companies, Amazon and SAP Lab selected 10 candidates. SAP Lab selected 2 students for a personal interview and Amazon selected 8 from our college. Both companies gave a package of 10 lakhs+ per annum.

Review of Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, Guna.

Placements: Placement record of JUET is very good for all branches, especially CSE. Placement percentage of the college tends to 100. Companies which offered job are: Amazon, Ericsson, Infosys, Cognizant, Bosch, TCS and many more. Some esteemed organizations like Indian Army and Indian Navy also conducted recruitment drive under UES-25 entry which is a great opportunity in itself. As far as the package is concerned, Amazon offered the highest package of 24 lacs, SAP Labs offered 9 lacs etc. A minimum ...

Good infrastructure with good faculty. Just need to focus on improving placement opportunities.

Placements: The college has centralized placement and is dependent on JIET Noida for placement which is the sister institute of JUET. As per the current scenario, CS branch has full placement whereas civil engineering & mechanical engineering branches don't have many opportunities. On the other hand, ECE students have an upper hand over ME & civil branch as they will get an opportunity in CS companies as well.

Slightly inclined towards satisfied because of good infrastructure, average faculty and facilities.

Placements: If you are in computer science or ECE, then there will be ample of opportunities for you but if you are from core branches like Chemical, civil or mechanical then you will get the chance only in mass recruitments. Sometimes, if you are lucky, then 1 or 2 core companies may show up. In my batch, approximately 60% of the students got placed but these statistics were even better for my seniors. The highest salary offered by any company is 27 LPA but no one from my campus got it. The highest packa...

Good infrastructure. Experienced faculty.

Placements: Campus placements for our college are good. We have to go to Noida branch for placements. Companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, SAP Labs, Amazon, Codebrew Labs, Gemalto, Ernst & young, Ericsson, Aricent, IBM, Nirma Cement, etc. recruited the students. The highest package was offered by Amazon (27.5 lakhs).

Good university called JUET.

Placements: Placement record of this university is good in CSE and EC but if we talk about CE and ME, then there are less than 20 students selected every year, because only one or two companies visit every year in CE and ME. In the year 2016, only five companies visited and less than 100 students qualified the test for placement.

A good option for those seeking placements in IT sector. CSE and ECE are up to the mark. Satisfied!

Placements: Most of the companies visiting the college are from the IT sector, which include Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, etc. Still, Sony Ericsson being a core company, visited for campus placements for the ECE students this year. Around 22-25 students from a batch of 62 students were placed in Ericsson. As far as the total percentage of students placed is concerned, it is around 50% among all those who were eligible for placements. The average package is around 3.5 LPA. The highest package was offered...

My lovely college experience.

Placements: In Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, the placement status is good because many companies visited Jaypee Institute of Information Technology for placements. The students are allowed to appear for the campus placements in all Jaypee colleges like JUET Guna, Jaypee Waknaghat and Jaypee sector 128, so every student can get an equal opportunity to get placed in big companies.

No dream's too big. Your efforts make your career successful.

Placements: Placement was average, not so good for core students. Very few opportunities for core branches, that is, civil and mechanical students. But you get max. opportunities as a CSE student. On an average, a CTC of 3 lakh onwards. But for core, very few opportunities are there and you have to grasp it. I am a core civil student. I have been placed in JMC project this year. So, in placement terms, it's good for IT students, not for core. Companies for IT students like Wipro, Cognizant and Inf...

Satisfied with the infrastructure, teaching techniques and faculty. The placements can be increased.

Placements: Many companies visit the campus including Amazon, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, etc. 75% of the students are placed, the others are in process. The highest salary offered was 27 lakhs and the minimum salary was 3.5 lakhs. The roles offered were technical. Basically, the roles were IT-oriented. The core companies offered roles apart from IT as well. The students preferred training over internship so that they would gain knowledge in fields like IOT. Some went for training as well and got a stipend of Rs. ...

2nd top private engineering university of MP.

Placements: The placements for computer science students are awesome. But in core branches like civil, mechanical etc, you have to work hard never expect guaranteed placements. The highest salary offer is 22 lakhs and the average package is of 2-3 lakhs per annum for only computer science students. For core branches, there is no such confirmed detail about placements. But for other branches, there is a wide scope for placements. Amazon, Infosys etc. visit our college for placements. Overall, good for CS, I...

Overall average. Faculty is very good & placement is also good but infrastructure is poor.

Placements: Placement is very good for branches like computer science & electronics but mechanical & civil branches students are getting fewer opportunities. According to the market analysis, companies will be interested in this field also in nearby future. Mechanical boys are doing very good in offline campus. They are focused on government jobs rather than the private sector.

Best and peaceful place for anyone to study with great campus and study conditions.

Placements: Well, placements are average of our college, not that good. Last year, the highest package was 27 lakh, and this year I think the highest package is 7-8 lakh till now. And the lowest package is 3.5 lakhs I think. Infosys, Amazon, Cognizant were the main companies. Normally students were offered a system engineer role. This year, 52 students were selected in on campus placements by Infosys and 12 were selected by Cognizant as a mass recruiter. Many students were selected in Wipro too. Ericson too...

When it comes to take a private college, it is worth taking admission in.

Placements: The number of students placed till date of the 2017 batch is 340. Other companies visiting every year for placements are Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, HP and much more. CideNation offered a package of 22 LPA (CTC) to a final year B.Tech student. Amazon offered the highest package at 27.5 lacs per annum.

Placements: Placements are pretty good. Streams like CSE has more than 100% of campus placements. Companies like Infosys, Wipro and Accenture are the main recruiters. Highest package offered was 27.5 LPA by Amazon. Other streams have normal placement of about 70% as per core companies are concerned.

Placements: I spent four years in this college and throughout my B.Tech never heard that even a single mechanical and civil sector company came from recruitment activity. If you are from other branches like EC and CSE then you have ample of opportunities to get placed in some very good companies. All placement activities are centralised and conducted by its sister branch Jaypee, Noida. %age of students placed in their own sector: Mechanical- 1%, Civil- 4%, CSE- 80%, ECE- 80%, chemical- 70%.
