On Admissions

Q:   Does Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology accept JEE score?

A:

Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology (JUET) traditionally conducted its own entrance examination, known as JUET, as the primary means of evaluating candidates for admission into its B.Tech programs. Historically, JUET did not have a policy of accepting scores from the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), which is a widely recognised entrance exam for admission into various engineering programs across India.

However, it's crucial to acknowledge that admission policies at educational institutions can undergo revisions. Universities may periodically reassess their admission criteria and processes to align with evolving educational standards, industry requirements, and the changing landscape of entrance examinations.

To obtain the most accurate and current information regarding JUET's admission requirements, including any recent developments related to the acceptance of JEE scores, prospective students are strongly advised to refer directly to the official website of the university or contact the admission office. Universities typically communicate any changes in their admission policies through official channels.

Given the dynamic nature of admissions processes, it is recommended to reach out directly to the university for the most reliable and up-to-date details. This proactive approach ensures that prospective students receive the latest information and can make informed decisions about their academic pursuits based on the specific criteria set forth by the university for the relevant academic year.

Prospective students interested in joining JUET are strongly encouraged to check the latest admission policies and requirements directly from the university's official website or by contacting the admission office. Admission criteria can be subject to change, and universities may update their processes to align with current educational standards and industry practices.

Overall, the college is good and decent .
Placements: The placement scenario is good here. The highest package was somewhat around 43 LPA, the average package was somewhat around 8 LPA, and the median package was 4 LPA. We get great internships also here in the 3rd year itself. The top recruiters were Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and many more.
Infrastructure: All classrooms here are well built, spacious, and air conditioned. Here we also have a two-floor library with great speed Wi-Fi, and it is also air conditioned. Here, hostels are also good for all students, and the food is also good, and we have multiple grounds for sports here.
Faculty: Teachers here are very well qualified, and all are Ph.D.-holding faculty members. They are also very helpful during internship time, and the courses that we learn here are also industry ready. Here semester exams are also a bit tough, and around 80 to 90 percent of students pass.

Review of Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: As I'm currently studying in second year, I don't know all details of the placements and job opportunities. But from what I've heard from my college seniors, they told me that if we get a moderate score, one can easily get a dream package. The highest salary package offered is 89 LPA.
Infrastructure: I have opted for the hostel and mess facilities of my college. Here, hostels are air-cooled and there is plenty of space in each hostel room for three students. The mess food is very good. Chefs in my mess are trained and each of them has a hotel management degree.
Faculty: In my college, Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, Guna, Madhya Pradesh, the academic culture is very good. Faculty members here are very supportive. They frequently conduct exams and practical examinations and difficulty level is moderate.
Other: Many events take place in my college, Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, Guna, Madhya Pradesh. Scholarships are also provided, and there are many other benefits after taking admission in my college for future placements purposes.

Mainly, the college is good, and you have to focus on skills.
Placements: Placements are average because the placement depends on the skills that we gain in four years of our college life. In B.Tech, the percentage of placement is around 50-70%, which I think is average. Generally, all placements are with CTC, with an average package of 5-6 Lacs. The highest package is 45 Lacs, and the lowest package is 70k per year.
Infrastructure: Labs are well maintained, and all the labs have proper cleanliness. For the CSE branch, all monitors have i7 processors. If we talk about hostels, the facilities are average, as the rooms are well maintained but the Wi-Fi speed is very bad. Mess food is the worst part of the college, as they only have a single canteen that serves bad food.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good, but some need to study well to make us study. All faculty members are Ph.D. holders. The course does not make us 100% industry-ready, and 60% of the skills we need to learn by ourselves, which are useful for placements. The exams are tough because there is no break between exams, and there are three exams each semester.

The infrastructure is very calm, green, and peaceful.
Placements: About 60 percent of students or higher than that were placed. The highest package was 44 LPA, and the lowest was 6 LPA. Amazon, Infosys, Hyundai are some top companies. About 80 percent of students get internships. Top roles include sales manager and developer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the hostel, library, cafeteria, and labs. The library is available for students until midnight. In the hostels, separate rooms are available. The canteen food is fine, and the mess food is okay. Medical facilities are open 24/7. Sports of mostly all kinds are available.
Faculty: Yes, all the faculty members are very qualified. The teaching quality is very good, and they are very supportive. The curriculum is kind of busy, but it prepares students for the industry. The difficulty level is moderate, and the pass percentage is 60 percent.
Other: Because of upcoming technology that is going to be computerized, the ongoing fest should be made more interesting.

It is a very good campus and a lush green campus.
Placements: About 60% of the students were placed in last session of placements and the highest package was 44 Lacs, the lowest was 70000 and the average package was 4 Lacs. Whereas the top recruiting company was Amazon. The top role offered is Software engineering.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good but the mess food is not good and the food is same for whole week. Infrastructure of college is good the university is 122 acre.
Faculty: Faculty is good but a lot of faculty is not expirenced. Half of the faculty is Ph.D. holder. Semester exams are moderate. If we just want to get pass then we can study one day before exams to get pass. And if we want to get good marks then we need to study 1 week before exams.

Fine placements and faculty. It is just the college is out of the city.
Placements: Placement opportunities at this college are good, with about half of the students getting placed. The highest salary offered was 28 LPA, the lowest was 3.6 LPA, and the average salary was around 6 LPA. Accenture and Infosys were the top recruiters. Most students get internships, usually with startups. The top role that students get at placements is Software Development Engineer (SDE).
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure and facilities. All buildings are equipped with Wi-Fi. The labs and classrooms have decent features. The library has books from every field, including science, technology, and literature in both Hindi and English. The hostel fees are a bit higher, but the hostels have good facilities. Students can choose between a three-sharing room or a single room.
Faculty: Most of the faculty were good and supportive. They were very helpful in getting students research internships. The curriculum is industry-oriented and gives students an idea of the different fields in demand. The only downside is that the frequency of examinations was a bit too high.
Other: The college have youth clubs and also a plethora of tech clubs that promote social skills as well as coding culture among students.
