Good placements and infrastructure, but the curriculum needs more industry focus.
Placements: Placement Rate: About 85% of students in my course were placed. The highest package was ₹34 LPA (offered by ServiceNow), while the lowest was ₹3.5 LPA, with an average of ₹7.5 LPA. Top recruiters included HPE, Microsoft, TCS, and Accenture. Around 60% of students secured internships at companies like Microsoft and Deloitte. Popular roles offered were Software Developer, Data Analyst, System Engineer, and QA Tester.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi: The campus offers decent Wi-Fi coverage, especially in academic blocks and libraries, though speeds can vary during peak hours. Labs: Well-equipped labs for practicals, with updated systems and software, although sometimes overcrowded during peak project times. Classrooms: Neat, clean, and comfortable seating. Some classrooms may lack proper maintenance at times. Library: The library is well-stocked with course-related books and research materials. It also has digital resources and a quiet study area. Hostel Rooms: Rooms are basic but comfortable, with sufficient space for two to three students. Regular maintenance of hostels could be improved. Mess/Canteen Food: The food quality in the mess is average, with a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, though the menu can become repetitive. Medical Facilities: There’s a nearby health center.
Faculty: The faculty is knowledgeable and helpful, but a few may focus more on theory. The teaching quality is decent, though more practical examples could be integrated. The curriculum is relevant, covering key industry topics like programming and data structures, but some areas could be updated. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a pass percentage around 80%, and internal assessments help balance the evaluation.
Other: Batch: 2024, B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). I chose ECE for its versatility in both hardware and software domains. The best aspects are the well-equipped labs and core subjects like VLSI and communication systems. However, the curriculum could benefit from more industry-relevant projects. The campus has lively events and a diverse crowd, with decent city connectivity. Scholarships are offered based on merit, and there are plenty of extracurricular activities, from tech clubs to cultural fests, making it a well-rounded experience.

Decent placement and infrastructure and teachers are excellent .
Placements: Placements of jecrc university are decent. Only 60 percent students got placed every year from campus. Course curriculum is good but the problem is that only small companies visits for placements. Maximum students reject the packages offered by these companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really good. All the necessary facilities like washrooms, Wi-Fi, etc. are available. There are well furnished classrooms, well-equipped labs and library. There are multiple sports ground for students. All the medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teaching method used here is quite simple and easy. All the teachers well educated and qualified. They all have friendly nature and always ready to help students. Course curriculum of university is really good. Semester exams are very easy and almost every student passes in them.
