Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Batch of 2022

The best college for MBA courses.
Placements: 95% of students were placed. The campus is visually appealing, and the transit system is superb. Approximately half of graduates are placed in internships or jobs, with starting salaries ranging from 3 to 6 lakh per year. Cipla is the premier recruitment firm.
Infrastructure: The college instructor behaves nicely and is well-educated. The teaching quality is excellent, and they are really helpful. Our college hostel is quite lovely and has a pleasant atmosphere. They offer wonderful meals and two playgrounds. All of the hostel's rooms are beautifully designed.
Faculty: All teachers are well educated and hold Ph.D. degrees from leading IITs and NITs. Their knowledge is excellent, and their study plan and notes are quite beneficial to us. Our college offers two sorts of exams: midterm and end of semester. The exam method is pretty good.

Amazing college with good infrastructure and facilities but no placement at all.
Placements: The percentage of students that were placed in our college was about 92% last year. The highest package was 12 LPA and the lowest was 4 LPA, and the average package offered in this college was also 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon Flipkart Zomato Paytm, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities that are available in our classrooms are digital boards, projectors, ACs, speakers and many more. The college infrastructure includes a gym, a playground artificial and many more. The quality and facilities in our hostels are really good.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, and they have qualifications like a PHD, the highest qualification to enter any college. This course doesn't make any student industry ready at all. The semester exams are very easy to pass.
Other: I chose this course in this college because my parents and friends suggested I enroll in this course. To improve this course, it is mandatory to remove the subjects like chemistry, physics and general science.

JIS UNIVERSITY : A candid look at challenges and shortcoming.
Placements: Only about 3 to 2% of atudents get placed in an actual good company from campus placements, Most others have to apply for jobs off campus. Given The skill set of students considering only the skills taught in JIS university, are laughable in today standards when applying for a job, thus most students have to learn very basic yet fundamentals skills necessary to get a job themselves. Top companies advertised are Byjus, Paytm, accenture, however it is a fact these companies are rare when it comes to actually recruiting potential employees from here ( Its all a lie ). .
Infrastructure: The facilities provided are great. The Wi-Fi and labs and other such essential are well maintained. There are multiple classrooms for conducting classes. There are 2 Auditoriums where classes take place and both of them are entirely Air Conditioned. The gym area is rarely open to use ( Even though it is advertised quite heavily ). The electronics Labs are quite well maintained with a steady supply of equipments. The mechanical Labs are not present within the university and classes requiring such labs are conducted in a different college sharing the same campus of JIS university. However the Usage of mobile data is incredible difficult due to some undiscernible factor as of today.
Faculty: The experience with the faculty members in JIS UNIVERSITY is truly hit or miss. A better way to put it would be that most teachers are friendly and will try to help you overall but are prone to favouritism. Thus it creates this muddy situation where if u know a particular teacher, the Probability of you getting more attention or falling into a negative predicament is highly increased. For example if you are able to build a stellar image of yourself in front of the teachers they will overlook most of the mischevious activities you end up partaking in. Coming to the quality of the teaching, it is serviceable and will allow you pass the given semester but is lacking considering the wider job market. Sometimes teachers expect the students to come pre-Prepared with certain topics to class which are part of the syllabus or the curriculum itself. However such incidents are not very regular. Overall the students focused on the curriculum are far from indsutry ready. The exams are not very tough in most subjects given the student attend most classes and prepares the assignments if and when provided by the teachers. Coming to certain teachers, most questions in the exam come from stuff taught by the teacher in class. However there are examples of teachers just handing out pdfs and saying " Well. Alll the best for the exams" instead of properly teaching the subjects as well. Sometimes those pdfs are absent as well, leading to students preparing for the exam using online lectures instead, however it is only likely to occur with one or two subjects per semester. Pass percentage is good. However. Well the above lies are a good enough explanation of the exceptions.
Other: Actually, teaching skills required to make a student industry read would be better instead of teaching students "the definition of a hardware". The event management is absolute garbage. There is no dedicated college found system to organize fests and other cultural events, so the organizes (students ) have to collect funds from fellow students. There are no dedicated clubs for cultural activities. Its literally a bunch of students running around like a bunch of chickens with their head cut off, begging for permission to organize the cultural activities, forget about a dedicated cultural committee because that only exist among faculty members who only select students by favoritism and not actual talent. However, the only club worth mentioning is the GDSC (Google Developer's Club). The organizes her are absolutely amazing. They host coding and gaming tournaments along with multiple hackathons. They provide an incredible outlet for talented coders to showcase their work. It also is for newbies who don't know how to code very well because there are plenty of opportunities to learn from the very basics. I cannot raise this club enough. Here people are genuinely nice and supportive, great community. This is where you can actually begin training to become somewhat industry ready. The redressal committee is a joke as well, any student facing a difficult is most often disregarded completely. They have to run around with applications chasing after faculty members that are never present in their designed offices and even if said faculty is found their most likely response is " This is not my domain I cannot help, I am sorry". Allow me to be frank for a moment but if as a student you ever face a problem whether it be administrative or otherwise, you will be overlooked. The upper management refuse to help students with official work like feels settlements or refunds or exam related work. The faculty members use derogatory terms to address students asking for help and sometimes delay help willingly. Borderline criminal behavior.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The campus is really nice, and the transport system is great. Of the students who graduate, about half are placed in internships or employment, with starting salaries between 3 and 6 lakh per annum. Cipla is the top recruiting company.
Infrastructure: Our college provides free Wi-Fi, air-conditioned classrooms and library, and well-maintained labs. The teachers were very supportive, and the students and teachers interacted very well. The canteen served great food at reasonable prices, and my coworkers were very hardworking.
Faculty: The teaching quality is average, but the semester exams are very tough, with a pass percentage of only 60%. The pharmacy course provides a great deal of knowledge about medicines, their application in the human body, and the process of formulating and marketing them. After completing the course, students are awarded a license to operate a pharmacy.
Other: I chose a pharmacy course because of the medical field and I have an interest in medicine.

A complete Guide to JIS UNIVERSITY for B.Tech.
Placements: Most of the students without any backlog in their degree tend to get placed on campus, but even after those opportunities, some people opt for off-campus placements due to high salary and major positions in multinational companies. Wipro, TCS, Flipkart, Accenture, Capgemini, etc., are the top recruiters of my course. SDE (Software Development Engineer) is the topmost roles offered, or even Assistant SDE. The average package is 3-4 LPA, whereas the highest goes to 18 LPA. While getting on-campus placements, you will have to really maintain your CGPA from 8-9.9, so there are not so many people as many are there with backlogs.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, but most of us do not use it as sometimes it may lag because so many students are accessing it altogether. We have a significant number of computer labs which can probably fit students from all sections of my batch. Some computers may be slow, but they provide a good amount of service as most of us work on college computers as we do not want to load our home machines with unwanted applications to slow down our processors. The library provides books and journals of ample amount and it provides a great ambiance to contribute our focus to our works. Classrooms are also well-equipped, which I think is far better than the classrooms of most colleges that I have seen. The canteen provides good-quality food which can satisfy your hunger as they provide proper Bengal food or Indian food for lunch, but hostels are not up to the mark with respect to the amount they charge in advance for the rest of the year.
Faculty: Some teachers are qualified with Ph.D., and some are pursuing it. They are knowledgeable, and they try to give all of their efforts in teaching us new concepts, but they are unable to succeed in it. There is a lack in the amount of faculty, which I feel. The course curriculum is very much relevant to the placement interviews of the freshers, at least I feel the curriculum makes any fresher ready to bag his/her first job, then it is their responsibility to get higher up in company positions after that. If you attend lectures regularly and take notes, it will not be hard to get a good score in exams, even with 2-3 days of preparation because you just have to be very much aware of what is being taught in class, then you have to self-study with full concentration.
Other: I chose this course because I was always interested in the field of engineering and wanted to work for some product-based companies or startups under their development or technology department. The college provides its own scholarship based on the percentage you scored in your 12th & 10th boards; depending on that scholarship, your tuition fee for each semester is decided, and it varies for each student, it's kind of like a discount. I wish that the authorities will lessen the criteria for attendance and take it slightly because it creates a burden on us, and I would want the management team to be more responsible, cooperative, and the administration should make more lifts with respect to the number of students. We have techno fests which are called Codefest, and those are held by our college's GDSC from time to time. Campus surrounding is also good as we have a beautiful pond with seats around it, giving us a park-type feeling for refreshment, a beautiful ground where matches of football, cricket, and many more games are held.
