It is an average college and not worth recommending.

Placements: This course has been evicted by the university, and we were the last batch to graduate with this course. Out of 45 students, only 3 students got selected through campus placements, and I was one of them. Almost everybody got internships as per their own interest. Students need to search for internships on their own. No media companies came for recruitment, so students were asked to find a suitable job on their own or do freelancing. Faculty members did not support at the end.

It is the best college if you pursue some mainstream courses, but not for EMT.

Placements: I am much disappointed with the placement process at our campus. None of the faculty members or the authorities took responsibility to place students somewhere. For this particular course, none of the media companies came for recruitment. We have to sit for the common placements and get a job in which we don't have any interest. For internships, you have to search for companies on your own. If you get a good PPO, it would be tedious to look for opportunities.

It is a good college for others but not for a media course, as it doesn't have required teachers.

Placements: There are good placement opportunities for core branches mostly for CS but not for media branches. Around 90% of UG students from all the departments sit for IT company placements, and those are mass recruitments. If you are an average or below-average student you will get placed from campus.

It is a mediocre college, with average placements.

Placements: Out of 2000 students, 700 got placed in campus selection. Companies like Accenture, IBM, Zoho, Nutanix, Hexaware Technologies, Hyundai Mobis, Amazon, Aspire Systems, and BYJU's come for recruitment. The highest package offered was 21 LPA, and the lowest package was 1.5 LPA. The college claims to have an average package of 6.4 LPA and a median package of 4 LPA. It totally depends on your performance.

Good infrastructure and enviroment .

Placements: 22 percent of the students got placed and the top recruiters were Perfect Electrical and Electronics Private Limited, SG pneumatics, Shrinath fabricators and smart training services. A student bagged a job in Maruti Suzuki with 20.25 LPA and the least package being 1.2 LPA with an average of 1.8 LPA.

I am completely dissatisfied because lecturers have very poor knowledge and bad placements sessions.

Placements: About 90% of the students from our course were placed, but the chances of getting core companies are very low. The highest salary package so far was offered by Byju's, and it was 10 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Colgate, IBM, Byju's, Jaro, etc. All these companies hire marketing students as their sales executives. The lowest salary package so far was offered by IBM, and it was 2.32 LPA, and the role offered is a voice processing unit. One student got selected in Colgate, while 2 students...

It is an average college for civil engineering students.

Placements: I studied a bachelor of technology in civil engineering and passed out in 2017. About 20% of the students from our batch got placed. Every student got high marks since the university was deemed university. Placement facilities in our department were very poor.

Perfect environment with dissatisfied management.

Placements: I wasn't really looking into the placement ratios since I had plans for higher studies. And so I paid no attention to the incoming or the recruiting companies. All I remember is most of my batchmates (particularly, civil) were placed in IT companies.

The college offers a good environment. Placements are average. The fee is too expensive.

Placements: Placements in college are not impressive. Many companies offer a salary package of around 3 LPA. The students are not technically strong to get hired. Students must possess good communication skills to get placed. The highest salary package offered was 30 LPA. Companies like Nutanix, Zoho, Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, Mindtree, Byju's, Bosch, etc., visit the campus for placements. Almost 25% of students got internships through campus. Placement cell is okay. The average stipend offered ...

Karunya provides good infrastructure and studies are okay.

Placements: Placements in Karunya is mediocre. Companies like Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, etc., and other IT companies usually visit our campus for placements. Generally, IT companies visit our campus for placements, so it is difficult to get placed in a core company. The salary package offered ranges between 3-12 LPA.

The college environment is good, but the rules are strict.

Placements: Only 40% to 45% of students got placed last year, and only 35% to 40% of students got placed from our batch. There is heavy competition regarding placements because no core companies are visiting the campus for the students of mechanical engineering and aerospace engineering. All the students are trying to get placed in Java-based core companies. Sometimes CGPA criterion doesn't matter, and only knowledge and communication skills matter.

Placements: Placements in our college were average. Almost 65% of the students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.25 LPA. Companies like Odessa, Accenture, Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, Bosch, Hyundai Mobis, KPIT, TATA Elxsi, Amazon, Zoho, Nutanix, Ad2pro, Honeywell and Nestle visited the college for placements. Satisfied with Karunya as it has good placements, infrastructure, and faculty.

Placements: In our college, the placements aren't great for my batch. Only 50% of the students got placed through college placements. This was due to the slow economic growth which in turn created fewer jobs, and this affected our college adversely. The highest package offered by Nutanix was 12 LPA. The lowest salary offered by BPOs was with a paltry sum of 1.2 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.2 LPA. Accenture is the mass recruiter of our college as it recruited more than 200 students, and the ...

A good college with great infrastructure, but it has poor management and very bad placements.

Placements: There is a placement cell in our college. They mostly bring in marketing and sales companies for engineering students just to get students placed. Most of the companies offered BPO profiles. There was no proper management for placements. We got internships on our own, and most of the internships were unpaid.

I'm dissatisfied with academics but satisfied with hostel life and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in the college are good only for the computer science department, as 80% of the companies that visit Karunya are IT companies. Few of the companies visiting for placements are Amazon, Accenture, Cognizant, Sutherland and Infosys. Other departments like ECE, EEE, biotech, and mechanical did not get many core companies, so they ended up getting placed in IT companies. There are no placement opportunities for the civil department. In the year 2018, about 70% of the students were placed. ...

Too much religious activities and absence of cultural fest makes the college mediocre.

Placements: Placements in core companies are rare because less than five core companies visit Karunya for placements. But many top IT companies such as Infosys, Capegemini and TCS do take placements in large numbers and the salary package is also good. Almost 35% of students get placed in these companies with an average salary of 3lakh rupees per annum. Apart from these companies, many BPOs also recruit 30% of students with an average salary of 2Lakh per annum. And Indian armed forces recruit through Univer...

Placements: Placements are okay I guess, they have good placement for CS students, but their are no core companies for Mechanical department, only 3-4 companies are hiring mechanical students, that's the only this standing in the way. I hope it will get better.

An academically average college with a really good life.

Placements: Placements in KIT are just below par. It totally depends on the students and their abilities. Good MNCs are coming to KIT. As I said earlier it totally depends on the students. During the time, when I graduated MNCs like Accenture and Cognizant came for the placements.

It is a good place to study. The weather is nice and the location is good.

Placements: The placements are not much good, no core company for the mechanical department came to the college, only software companies arrived. The call centres are more which is not necessary. They should provide some new companies. It is unfair to the students who are studying here, they are paying nearly 10 lacs in four years they do not provide more placements in the college. They do not tell us the reason for it, they just blame us for not studying.

Placements: Placements in karunya are average. Only a few students got placed. Even in our seniors batch only a few students got placed where as for our super seniors placements were good. Hope our college will get many more companies before we pass out of the college.
