The college has an average placement, highly qualified faculty and an awesome infrastructure.

Placements: The placements here are average. The electronics and communication and computer science department get more offers on the campus. This year, the highest paid offer was by Nutanix were two people of computer science got selected for a package of 12 lacs per annum. Apart from that, nearly 50 companies have visited the campus. The lowest package is 1 lac per annum by Amazon.

Karunya- at least make some changes in the future.

Placements: I didn't get placed on the campus, but I got chance to do projects from outside the campus. After completing my projects, they hired me as the research analyst. As a biotechnologist, you need to be patient and work hard for placed in the core by all the ways. There is no use of depending on the college.

Satisfied with the faculty members on the campus.

Placements: The placements on the campus are good, and it depends on your history of arrears and your involvement in your department events. Your CV is more important too. Karunya will make you arise and shine for placement, and you should maintain the CGPA of more than nine because, with this CGPA, you can perform well.

If you are good at your own, you can surely choose this college if you don't bother about money.

Placements: The placement opportunities are very good. More than 50 companies will come. But the thing is the higher package companies are less than 10. Most of the companies offer Rs. 20,000 but just getting placed is not a future. The college is good, and you have to take care of everything.

The college was a good experience as I met a lot of new people.

Placements: Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited was a self-generated placement, as all IT firms were visiting. I got placement in Capgemini, Accenture and Wipro but wanted to do in marketing. Placements were better than our seniors as the packages offered were better. The lowest salary package offered was 2.1 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 4.9 LPA. All the roles of core programming were offered to students.

Absolutely dissatisfied with infrastructure and food, but a very good place to live in

Placements: Placements were good but not up to the mark because of our placement cell. Faculty members have managed to go through placements. 80% are placed and more than 70 companies visited the campus last year. Many companies came this year too.

Review of Karunya University.

Placements: There are few core companies coming and few companies with salary packages above 1 lakh per month, and a lot of other IT companies. The college has almost 85% placement with a decent package. The average package is Rs. 25000. They also give good placement training and prepare the students both technically and in soft skill areas. They also take the students for off-campus placements in other colleges in Coimbatore. They help even the least qualified students and take maximum effort to get them p...

Absolutely worthless and a waste of money. Please join somewhere else.

Placements: The placements are average. Only if you are a bright student you have a chance of getting placed. Mostly, IT companies came for the recruitment. The percentage of students placed was also very average because a lot of students were not eligible as they had backlogs. In this college, almost half of the students have backlogs.

Placement is very bad. And the way the faculty prepares a person for placements is also not that great. The hostel concept is good, helps a lot with studies and learning things. The food is above average. College culture is really bad, not many activities are happening in the college.

A review on KITS, Coimbatore.

Placements: Placements from core companies do come, most of these companies are for computer science and IT-oriented (depends person to person's interest). But, placements for biotech companies are very rare and they can hardly come for placements. The highest package that came was 4LPa from an IT company.

So much disappointment due to the strictness here; it's challenging to lead a peaceful life.

Placements: Yes, the placements here are pretty decent, I guess, compared to other colleges. I have heard that the highest package is 30 LPA, while the lowest is 2 LPA. The average, however, is around 4-5 LPA. I don't see many seniors securing those placements. Don't join Karunya for the placement trap.

The college has a scope of improvement for placements.

Placements: Placements in our college were good. Most of the IT companies visited our campus for placements. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Roles like assistant software engineer, etc., were offered to students. Major companies like Accenture, Infosys, Techmahindra, KPMG, etc., visited our campus for placements. Very few core companies visited our campus for placements.

I am satisfied for placements in B.Tech, CSE and ECE.

Placements: Placements of our batch will increase because almost 90% of the students from our senior batch got placed through on-campus with good salary package. For our course, IT companies like Accenture, TCS, Smart Pix, etc., visited our campus for placements. Almost 74% of the students from our university get an internship. The highest stipend offered for my internship is Rs. 60,000 per month, and IASETE offered it. The lowest stipend offered is Rs. 3,000 per month.
