KARUNYA UNIVERSITY. Where the students need to be vigilant.

Placements: The placements for the batch of 2010- 2014 was modest but not great as claimed. Most of the students were placed in the IT firms. Some bright students got good opportunities and worked their way up. Packages offered were from 2-5 Lacs per annum. There is a placement cell which would greatly assist you in the placements.

Satisfied with good academic interaction, infrastructure and the campus ambience.

Placements: The placements are just okay. Lots of software companies like Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant, etc., come but chances of being placed are higher for CSE or ECE students only. The core companies which visit the campus are less. From my senior batch, only 2 people got a core placement from EEE. The placement cell hardly brings the internships to the students, to get an internship, you have to rely totally on yourself.

Karunya University in Coimbatore GYC.

Placements: Karunya has the creditable record of placements. Many companies recruited students with high packages, and in and around that you have to prove your worth. Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, TCS, IBM, Samsung, Hawaii, and many more companies come to recruit the students. Not only IT but also core companies come here.

It has a really great atmosphere to study, and experience a wonderful college life.

Placements: For the mechanical branch, there aren't many companies turning up for placement. Over the years, the number of core companies coming for placement is reduced. Most of the students get placed in IT sectors. There are enough facilities available, but its just not directed proportional to the students.

A good and an interesting climate.

Placements: The placements are not as expected. For 2016 batch it was good, and later it dropped down. We are still waiting for the companies to visit. I hope we will get placed here, in the presence of God. Even for seniors batch, the placements were less, and still, we are waiting for many companies to come. This college is good for everything, but when it comes to placements, a few companies are visiting the campus.

Good college, good climatic conditions and a nice atmosphere

Placements: As far as I know, the placements in Karunya University are good for ECE and CSE. When it comes to placements in ECE, companies like Siemens and other companies like Wipro, Bosch, Jasmin Infotech and much more will arrive for placements in Karunya University. The major companies will be Amazon, Samsung and Huawei which offer a better price and good job features.

Media in Karunya University

Placements: Not much of media placements happen here. Only software companies come for the placement. Only 2-3 media companies have visited the campus so far and they just recruit 5-6 students from a big bunch. Most of the students who are media aspirants want to enter the film and TV broadcasting industry, so encouraging such companies to visit the campus can boost up the placement procedure.

Karunya University is a really good college

Placements: Placements were good last year. Many students got placed last year but you can expect low salaries for most of them. Karunya University will make students go through a course which will last for 1 full semester to learn about aptitude tests and skills, so students will pretty much clear the aptitude tests in placements offered by companies.

Good infrastructure, decent faculty, and can work on equipping students for placements.

Placements: The placements were not bad. Mostly, the IT companies visit the campus, even when they did, the students weren't equipped enough. Earlier, for a short period, they use to focus more on aptitude rather than putting it all on the students for a degree, but it is overwhelmed a lot.

I am satisfied with my college.

Placements: The college has the average placements for B.Tech. Almost, 60 percent of the students got placed in our batch. The highest package offered for B.Tech was 7 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. The companies like Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, and Cognizant visited the campus for the placements. The internship opportunities from the college were a few, and the student had to find their internships.

Good infrastructure and great placements.

Placements: Placements were good, especially for the CSE and ECE department. Most of the students were placed in more than 2 companies and around 20 students were offered internships in their respective companies as well. Around 95% of the students were placed from CSE department and I think it was the same for the seniors as well.

If you aim to be in the top 30% of the class, go for it.

Placements: Although the core placements for instrumentation are less, the department works hard to make the students sit for the available companies and get them placed. 60% of the students who get placed get the software companies and the rest get the core instrumentation profile. More than 70% of our batch had got placed. The highest was around 5 LPA and the lowest was around 2.5 LPA. The college does not help with internships, so students are responsible for it. Companies like Wipro, HP, Infosys, Accent...

The lowest salary was Rs. 300000/- per annum while the highest salaries were more than 600000/- per annum. Some of the companies that visited the campus were Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini.

Highly Satisfied - would recommend to others

Placements: Karunya University provides good placements for its students. Almost all the companies coming for campus recruitment are top companies of India. On an average, scale 40% of students go for campus recruitment and gets placed. The department takes keen interest in getting students placed in a highly reputed organization.

Satisfied with good campus and faculty.

Placements: The university provides good placements for engineering students. But comparatively, circuit branches have better placements. As far as civil is considered, placements are less and most of the students go for higher studies or off campus placements. The university offers PG courses also so that one shall pursue MTech, MBA etc continuing in Karunya.

I love Karunya. Good placements, good Infrastructure, good climate and nature.

Placements: About 50% of my batch mates in my department got placed in IT companies like Accenture, Infosys, Wipro etc. No core companies come for placements. Among our seniors, about 60% got placed in IT companies. Average salary varied from 3.2 to 3.4 LPA. Lowest salary was 2.8 LPA.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and bad placements in 2017. Really good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements were very good last year (class 2016) almost 1600+ placements are recorded. But when it comes to my batch (class 2017) there was a drastic fall of placements recorded (close to 600 till now and still counting). Last year, 30000 euros per annum was the highest paid salary, this time rupees 14,00,000 per annum is the highest paid salary. Mostly all the day one companies hire the freshers. Regarding internships, people do go to internships to relatively small companies (not like Google...

A think tank with the spirit of God

Placements: I have got a very good feedback from my seniors here. 99% of the students from the computer science department get placed every year. The highest package offered was 12 lakhs PA which was received by 5 students. We get the opportunity for abroad internships too where we can later be placed, plus we are encouraged for our own startups. The internship stipend ranges from Rs 10,000 to Rs 75,000.

Placements: Placements are good. You will get companies like Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc and a lot of others. You will get placed if you study a little. Highest package differs every year, maybe 11-13 lakhs per annum. Internship percentage is 50%.

This is a good college with a wonderful infrastructure, cold weather and has a good learning environment. The campus facilities and the education are worth the money. The students get many opportunities to enrich themselves in terms of academics and moral values. This is a good international college in India according to me.
