Located in the scenic city of Coimbatore, the college is a Christian minority college. There is a strict anti-ragging policy in place that prohibits ragging of any sorts. This makes this place a safe bet for any student. The college has one of the best hostel facilities with housing staff who are always present to facilitate the students for any help. There are indoor basketball courts, gyms, outdoor badminton courts etc. that help students keep fit and balance their academic and non-academic li...

Karunya is situated in situated near hills, so the climate is good almost throughout the year. It is a residential college. The hostel has decent rooms and is well maintained. It takes about an hour from Coimbatore. Students are required to follow a formal dress code, so no jeans T-shirt. The infrastructure is good, sports facilities are pretty good. A variety of food options, north Indian as well as international food available. There are a lot of activities in which you can participate. The la...

It's a good university for pursuing B.tech degree. Amazing infrastructure spread across 750 acres, well maintained. Beautiful locality at the foothills, near Shiruvani waterfalls. The fully residential facility makes it a better place to live, many hostel buildings taking care of all its students. Even the food provided in hostel mess are hygienic and nutritious. The chancellor DGS Dina Karan is a world famous personality which brings students from across the world. This university is a perfect ...

This is one of the best colleges in south India. Although it’s not famous because it does not advertise much but overall it’s a good college. Its lab facility is good. The management is good. Fees structure is nominal. It’s in a good developing stage. The exam structure and transparency are good. There is no political environment so you will get enough motivation to study. Ragging is completely banned and there is special security and guidance for first-year students. The climate is awesome. ...

Karunya University is an awesome college with a wonderful infrastructure and a beautiful crowd and campus life. As it is a completely residential college a strong bond is there between every students and staff and the staff members are available at any time to clarify doubts. Some of the staff members are residents of the hostel and there are chances to mingle with the staff in the hostel also. Most of the staff members are Ph.Ds. Karunya University is an average university and the campus life is pretty boring with lame rules and regulations like guys cannot talk with girls for which you might get harassed by your mentor, who will call your parents and tell them that you are getting suspended for talking to the opposite sex. The only good thing is it is near to the hills so the climate is cool and partly cloudy. You will get almost everything that a student needs in or around the campus, and yeah hostel is compulsory for...

Excellent infrastructure. Poor management and faculty. Quality is lost due to petty politics. If you are a self-learner and do not expect professional behaviour from management, then this is an excellent place. It has all resources to support a self-learner to excel and achieve.

Classes at KU were theory oriented when I joined. The classes need to be more practical oriented and make the student understand the basics very properly and clearly. However eventually when we were in the final year. The college has opted for practical orientation. They had ongoing assessment and more marks for practical projects which they incorporated in every semester. Being a residential college and having professors who take classes in the college as wardens was a little annoying. Also,...

It’s a good college, the infrastructure is good. This cannot be compared to other deemed universities like SRM, Sathyabama, VIT etc. You will find a good mix of culture, students from all over India. Most of the staff members aren’t knowledgeable. Hostels and food are great. The placements are good too. If you are into music, you will enjoy it here as there are a lot of music programs. I enjoyed my education here, but it’s not for everyone. Some rules are just too much to take.

The top recruiters are TCS, CTS, HCL, etc. About 70% of students are placed this year and they are working mostly in TCS, Bosch, and many other hardware companies. Karunya is good to the persons who come to achieve their dreams.

Placements: Since iam a fresher I do not know much about college. And the classes were online due to the pandemic, but when I researched about karunya it was good at placements and the highest paid salaries were upto25 Lacs approximately. So yes it is good at placements and you will have internships in your second year as well.

Placements: Almost 10% of the students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 12,000 per month. Karunya Institute of Technology and Science has very fewer placements.

Placements: Karunya has very fewer placements compared to all other universities. Mostly students who scored more than 9 CGPA get more opportunities, and other students have very fewer placements. Some companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Newtonics and other companies visit our campus for placements. It's better to opt this college for students those who want to be an entrepreneur.

It is good but not worth the money.

Placements: Placements here were very less. One or two students were offered placements last year with low salary package. Nestle is not worth for an engineer, but expectations are high this year. Almost 25% students attended 2-month internships which were arranged by the college. It was only for boys. The stipend is offered Rs. 7,500 per month.
