The university is good in terms of faculty members, placements, classrooms, and infrastructure.
Placements: About 80% of students get placement every year. The highest salary package is 3.6 LPA and the lowest is 1.9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Sail, ECL, BCCl, ISCO BURNPUR, Tata Hitachi, JAI Balaji, Super smelters, etc. About 80% of students in every field are given internships in different companies. About 100% of internships are given to mining engineering.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is good and it has a huge campus. There are Wi-Fi facilities and well-maintained computer labs. Workshops are very good, and classrooms are specified for each class. There is a huge library, and it is provided with every sort of knowledge source. There is a specified building for every course section. The canteen is good and provides fresh food. The hostel is also very good and well maintained.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful and highly qualified. They guide us very well with their knowledge. The course contains many workshops and lab work, which give a lot of ideas about industrial work. We have to give theoretical exams for our main subjects every semester, which are quite good and sometimes tough. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: This course is very beneficial because it targets most of the steel industries. I think student interaction with these workshop classes could be arranged more. There are various events and fests organised by the college, and curricular activities are also held. Various scholarships are also awarded to different students.

Kazi Nazrul University is a well-known university in Asansol.
Placements: Here, students were not placed yet. Our first batch of students will pass out in the year 2023. Many students get internships. The top roles are material scientist and metallurgy engineer. Our college has a training and placement cell too to place us.
Infrastructure: There are good facilities for labs, classrooms, and the library. The rooms were very clean. All sorts of equipment are present in the laboratory. The hostel rooms are very clean and windy. They also provide a single bed for each student and an almirah. There is also a huge playground for outdoor games as well as a huge auditorium for indoor games.
Faculty: Teachers and our mentors are very helpful. They are qualified by a well-known university, and their teaching skills are good enough to teach anybody. Our teachers put pressure on practical knowledge instead of just theoretical knowledge. Our university makes our semester papers on their own. The difficulty level of the semester exam is medium to tough. Anyone who comes to college regularly and listens properly to what our teachers teach can score an average of 8 to 9 CGPA on a semester exam.
Other: I got admitted to this university through WBJEE (West Bengal joint entrance examination). In WBJEE counseling, I got a metallurgy and materials engineering branch, although I am willing to change my branch because I am more interested in computer science than metallurgy. Our college organises many events. They also provide scholarships to needy students. They also organises drawing, digital poster making, and many more competition programs.

It is a good college at an affordable fee structure.
Placements: I don't know about placements as it is started this year. The salary package offered is also not discussed. Students are expecting some companies will visit here. I think the salary package offered will be 3 LPA. If you want adventure in your life, then join this university.
Infrastructure: The library is not that good, and Wi-Fi is also not good enough. Labs are good, and smart classrooms are also available. Hostel facility is available, but it is not in good condition. The medical facility is not available, but sports and games are available. Foods are average. Department library is good, but in the central library, you can only get 2 books for 20 days.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very good, helpful and knowledgeable. Practicals are good, and the physics department is also in good condition.
Other: Everything in our college is good.
