Good but not better, average placement.
Placements: Above 50% of students are placed in our department. The lowest package of CSE is 3.5 LPA (TCS), and the highest package is 22 LPA, but only one student got the highest package. The average package is 5-7 LPA. The mass recruitment companies are TCS and Cognizant, and the minimum package of TCS is 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is wonderful and enjoyable. There is connected Wi-Fi in our hostel, and the college has its own tower for the network. The classrooms look wonderful and clean, and our college has a library where students can take books. A maximum of 5 books can be taken from the library at a time.
Faculty: The teacher quality is good but not too good. Students need to study from the Internet and outside the college, e.g., tuition, and coaching centers. Teachers are not helpful to students. I prefer YouTube as a good platform for learning, and there are teachers with higher standards.

Average with decent placement. If you have knowledge you can get a decent placement.
Placements: Basically, our college has average placement opportunities. Those who really do well and are always involved in their upskilling get a decent placement opportunity. So, being in a tier 3 college, you need to upskill yourself for getting a decent placement.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure when we talk about colleges in West Bengal. Talking about infrastructure, of course, it has an average infrastructure, and the hostel is good with Wi-Fi facilities and proper security for students.
Faculty: Teachers here are knowledgeable, but you can only get knowledge if you want to or if you are eager to know things from them. Then they will be very helpful. Regarding industry readiness, no, you don't get that much exposure. All you need to do is do everything yourself.
Other: So as all of us know CSE is the most trending branch and most overrated department.

Not very satisfied. Poor infrastructure.
Placements: The highest salary package offered was 24 LPA and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies: Amazon, Microsoft, Google, TCS, IBM, etc. A very small percentage of students got internships (not that much needed). In terms of internships, most students take opportunities from lower-tier companies just for the experience.
Infrastructure: Overall, infrastructure is not that good. Classrooms and libraries are okay. Hostel facilities are also okay. Canteen food is bad. Various sports and games are available. Medical facilities are okay. There is no ragging for hostel boys, especially for 1st years (CCTV cameras are everywhere).
Faculty: Few teachers might help students, but most of them are not that good. Teaching is not effective. It’s better to study on their own. Course curriculum is okay (not all subjects are needed in the future). Semester exams are very difficult. Guarding is strict. Teachers are quite strict.

Review of Asansol Engineering College.
Placements: Placements: At Asansol Engineering College, every year above 90% of students got placed from different fields like CSE, IT, ECE, and EE in different companies like TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, etc. The highest offered package is above 12 LPA, the average package is near about 8-9 LPA, and the minimum offered package is at least 3-4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure: In Asansol Engineering College, there are super-quality Wi-Fi, computer labs, classrooms, and libraries that are neat and clean; also, there are very good quality facilities; very good quality food is available in our college mess and canteen; and there are also present emergency medical facilities on the hostel campus; there is a playground to play cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, etc. at Asansol Engineering College.
Faculty: Faculty: At Asansol Engineering College, there are also so many faculty professors who guide us every day to achieve goals in our lives; their teaching quality is really very good. The B.Tech course curriculum is much more relevant, and it makes the students perfectly industry-ready. In this college semester, exams are not very difficult. Every year, almost 50% of students have scored above 8 CGPA; 40 out of 100 is the pass mark in each subject.
Other: Other: After completing higher secondary and WBJEE exams, I got admission to Asansol Engineering College with a 16606 rank in WBJEE through the counseling process. I chose the Computer Science and Engineering course because this course has many more job opportunities in the future, and I will make a good career through this course. In this course, I must be preferred in coding skills as well as semester exams CGPA; those are helping us get a good placement in the company. At Asansol Engineering College, every year there must be an organized teach fest with many events like the model-making college annual fest; those students who are getting above 60% marks in every year get the SVMCM scholarship.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of poor students quality that came to our college.
Placements: Nearly 80% of students are placed in our college. TCS is the only company recruiting most of the students from our campus. Other companies like Cognizant, Accenture, Josh Technologies, Keysight Technologies, Nutanix, Deloitte, Delta X, Saxsen Technologies and many more also visit the campus for placement.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on our campus. The quality of food is very poor in our campus canteen as well as in the hostel. The classrooms are good. Lab infrastructure is very poor. The books in the library are not adequate.
Faculty: The faculty is helpful but the quality of students who come to our college is very poor. The course curriculum is relevant for engineering students in every discipline. But the student-faculty ratio in our college is very low. Overall, everything is satisfactory.

With this rank 62727, I think you should go for CSE in ASEC. ASEC is a decent college for CSE with decent faculty and placements. It is much better than Asansol and I am sure about it. Now if you think of going for higher studies you can join AEC but do remember ASEC will have the proximity of Kolk
