Candidate must have completed with 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC in the master's degree* (2-year/4-semester master’s degree programme after a 3-year bachelor’s degree Programme#) or equivalent in the relevant subject subject to qualifying LPUNEST + Interview Candidate who has completed 1-year/2-semester master's degree* programme with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree is also eligible. or Candidate who has completed 4-years/8-semesters bachelor’s degree in relevant field with 75% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC and have minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in teaching/research/Industry is also eligible subject to qualifying LPUNEST and Interview. NOTE: If an institute has conversion factor of 9.5 then CGPA of 7.5 will not result in 75% marks and hence such a candidate will not be eligible. A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.* with Clinical Microbiology or Medical microbiology or Microbiology or equivalent.
