Lovely Professional University offers a scholarship scheme of up to INR 9.52 lakh per student. The University has rolled out Phase III scholarships from June 1, 2024 to June 10, 2024. The early bird decision for Phase III scholarships is extended till June 10, 2024. In addition to this, scholarships worth over INR 100 crore were awarded last year. LPU scholarships can be availed in all the programmes offered in the University, ranging from diploma to PhD. The Lovely Professional University also provides financial aid to underprivileged students like orphans, persons with disabilities, etc., or some specific groups like Wards of Defence personnel, etc.

LPU Scholarships Highlights 2024-25

Admissions at LPU are conducted in multiple phases, with scholarship opportunities varying based on the phase in which a candidate applies or enrolls. Phase I begins in January and runs until April, offering the highest scholarships. Phase II follows in May, with reduced scholarship amounts.
The percentage required for availing of an LPU scholarship varies programme-wise. There are four brackets of scholarships and each bracket has its criteria. Students meeting the bracket 1 (top bracket) conditions get the highest scholarship, whereas, for subsequent brackets, the scholarship gets reduced. The following are the bracket-wise scholarship criteria:

LPU Scholarship Types:

Lovely Professional University offers scholarships to students as financial assistance. The university provides scholarships to meritorious students who are dedicated to their academic goals. LPU Scholarship Criteria:

LPU offers various types of scholarships to students to provide them with financial support. These scholarship types have different eligibility criteria and are offered to students at UG, PG, and PhD levels. Some of them are given below:

Placements: In our college, around 95% of students got placed in good companies. The highest package was 1.2 crore. Top recruiters were Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. Almost 100% of students got internships in our college. We have great projects to work on. All thanks to our college.

Truth About LPU and its faculty.

Placements: According to my experience at Lovely Professional University in our course, it is difficult to get good placements because the package value is very low. The university doesn't provide good placements in reputed companies. Students are also not very good so that they can get a good company as a friend in college.

Placements: We won't say that there are no placements in LPU. They should upgrade the way of teaching and skills building. There are more sales placements in LPU. There are no technical placements. The placement success rate was decreased compared to previous years.

Campus and infrastructure is great, faculty members are decent, come if you can compete.

Placements: As a fresher in my first year, I can't say much about placements yet. However, based on my interactions with seniors, placements seem decent, especially for those who work hard. The average package is around 6 to 7 LPA, and the highest is 33 LPA. To be eligible for placements, you need a minimum 7.5 CGPA in all 8 semesters, no record of unfair means, and no reappearances. Companies like Deloitte and EY hire LPU graduates from our branch, so placements are decent.
