What is LUMET ?
Lucknow University Management Entrance Test (LUMET) is a university level entrance exam held annually for admission to MBA/MTTM programmes at Lucknow University. Candidates having valid CAT exam score can apply for MBA admission directly. Last year, the Lucknow University renamed LUMET.
The entrance exam is a MCQ based test, in which the question paper will have 100 questions on General Awareness, English Verbal Ability & Comprehension, Data Interpretation & logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. The time duration of LUMET is 90 minutes.
Candidates selected on the basis of CAT/LUMET score will be invited for Personal Interview (PI) round. The final selection will be based on candidate's entrance exam score and performance in PI. CAT/LUMET carries 70 points and PI carries 30 points.

With certain changes, the LUMET program is somewhat comparable to the CAT or CMAT syllabus. - Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in the current year can apply for admission but they should fulfill all eligibility conditions on the day of admission.

Q: Does Lucknow University send LUMET result by post?
No, the Lucknow University does not send LUMET result by post to any candidate. The scorecard will be available in online mode only and until a particular date only. Candidates can check the deadline to download scorecard on the exam website.
Q: Who can apply for LUMET exam?
Any candidate who has completed graduation with 50 per cent in aggregate (45 per cent for reserved category) can apply for LUMET. Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply. LUMET 2025 Admission Process
Step 1: Fill in the LUMET Application Form 2025
Candidates wil have to fill an online application form to register for the exam. The LUMET application form will be available at the offiicial website. Candidates must fill the form if only they meet the eligibility criteria.
The registration fee is as follows:
- For candidates belonging to General and OBC category: INR 1,600

Step 2: Download LUMET Admit Card 2025
Candidates who register successfully for the exam will be issued LUMET admit card. The same will be available online and candidates can download it from the official website of Lucknow University. Step 3: Appear for LUMET 2025
LUMET is conducted in offline mode. The questions are asked from Communication Ability, Aptitude & Reasoning, General Awareness, and Quantitative Aptitude. LUMET is an easy test.

LUMET 2025 result will be released online and candidates can check their scorecards by visiting the official website of Lucknow University. The results can be accessed by entering the login ID and password.
Step 5: Personal Interview
Candidates who will appear in the entrance test will have to appear for an interview for final selection. The final selection of candidates will be done collectively on the basis of the scores obtained in LUMET/CAT/CMAT and the performance in the Personal Interview.
Step 6: Merit List announcement
An overall combined merit list of all candidates for the personal interview will be released online and will be made available in the concerned Departments of the university too.
Step 7: Personal Interview
Candidates who get shortlisted for admission to the MBA courses offered by the University need to attend the Personal Interview round. Candidates are required to be present in person with the required documents for the counselling round.
