Q:   Is it worth pursuing BBA at Magadh University?

A:
{Source: BBA students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from current and former students, here are some key points to consider:

Teaching Quality: The teaching quality is good, with highly qualified and knowledgeable professors. However, some students felt that the faculty members could improve their communication skills.

Curriculum and Industry Readiness: The course curriculum is up-to-date, and the university tries to prepare students for the industry through events and seminars. However, some students felt that the curriculum is too theoretical and lacks practical application.

Placements: While some students reported getting placed, others stated that the placement record is poor, with most students opting for off-campus placements or higher education instead.

Infrastructure and Facilities: The infrastructure is relatively good, with air-conditioned classrooms, labs, and libraries. However, some students complained about issues with Wi-Fi connectivity and availability of basic amenities like water and cold water freezers.

Overall Experience: Students seemed to appreciate the academic experience, citing supportive teachers and a good learning environment. However, some expressed disappointment with the lack of campus life, limited extracurricular activities, and slow pace of academics.

Recommendation: Considering these factors, pursuing a BBA at Magadh University might be suitable for those who prioritize affordability and a strong academic foundation. A:
{Source: B.A. students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

Placement Opportunities: Unfortunately, placements are limited at Magadh University, with some students reporting that no companies visit the campus for recruitment. Others mention that while companies may visit, the number of placements offered is small. Only a handful of students reportedly secure internships, and these opportunities are often self-initiated.

Teaching Quality: Despite limitations in placements, the majority of reviewers praise the teaching quality, stating that professors are knowledgeable, experienced, and willing to help students. Some highlight that the course curriculum is relevant and helps prepare students for industry demands.

Infrastructure and Facilities: Reviews indicate that the university's infrastructure is generally good, with Wi-Fi, laboratories, classrooms, and a library available. Although some amenities, such as the hostel, may be considered average.

You should not apply here for graduation courses.
Placements: There are no placements in graduation courses. There are some courses for PG which have less placements, and even they are also below average. There will be some placements for MBA courses only, but there is no opportunity for graduation courses even though you graduate after 4 years for three-year courses.
Infrastructure: New buildings are remarkable a little bit, but yet there is no maintenance of infrastructure. There is no hostel facility for any course here. There are no medical facilities also. You should not choose this college as much as you can because you will regret it.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, but they tell you about courses in a very lethargic manner. They act like an SBI office, and once you visit one building, they tell you to go to another building. Even if you find the correct office, they tell you to come the next day.
Other: I chose this course so that I can easily write exams.

I enjoyed the campus crowd and campus life.
Placements: None of the students got placements from this course. As it is a chemistry (Honours) course, there are no placements. Most of the students opt to prepare for government jobs and teaching jobs. There are also no internships in this course, so companies don't visit here for the same.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in our college are quite good like Wi-Fi facility, labs, classrooms and library are open for students. Students can spend at any time in the library. The quality of the food served in the hostel is also better. Medical facilities, sports and games facilities are also available here.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is also good in this course. The course curriculum is somehow not very much relevant. It is not very much updated, so it creates troubles for students. Otherwise, everything is good about this course.

Magadh University has provided me with an exceptional education.
Placements: 45% is required for admission. Under 25,000 to 50,000 is offered in my college. Above 75% is enough for an internship. I don't know much about it, but it helps me to get much knowledge in my field. The roles which are offered in my course are chemist, environmental scientist, pharmacologist, pharmaceutical sales executive, and crystallographer.
Infrastructure: The facilities available in the college have not been good enough. There is a lack of a proper library and labs. Even the benches and tools are not in good condition. The food quality is not so good in the hostel. The food items provided in the hostel are average compared to those provided in the canteen. Medical facilities are good enough. Sports, cultural programs, and games are good.
Faculty: There is a lack of knowledgeable teachers in the college. Few of them are not interested in lectures. I think if they were replaced with good lecturers, then everything would be fine. Not so much, but the course curriculum is relevant for the students. The semester exams are not tough enough. Actually, it depends on the students and how they study. 45% is enough for passing marks.
Other: I am interested in Chemistry. It helps me understand the medical and farming fields well. So, I decided to choose this course. The lecturers of this course are not so good. There is a lack of practical knowledge. Events are happening in the college, but not in a good way. I think there is a lack of management that cannot manage all things. Scholarships are provided.

Review of Magadh University.
Placements: There were no placements and internships in our college. Companies did not visit our college.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities were good. Our college had good infrastructure and classrooms. The mess facility and library were good.
Faculty: Faculty members were well-educated. They were friendly with students. They had completed the syllabus on time. They helped students to clear their doubts. Exams are strictly conducted every year. The pass percentage was 60%.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. Laboratory facilities require some renovations. Scholarships were provided to students. Sports were conducted at regular intervals. Matches were played at the district and state levels. Our college had a good environment to study in. I recommend this college to interested students.

It is one of the best colleges.
Placements: Placements are average. Package contents are not high but enough for the average students. Students can also get high packages. Good students can get internships in good companies. Many companies visit the college for securing good students for their companies. It is a good college for vocational courses students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, Labs and classrooms all are good. Very good and affordable. Parking is good. Helpful staff but mess is not available. Canteen is not available. Medical facilities are good because of the nearby hospitals available even during the emergency. Sports meet is held every year. Games and extra curriculum activities are held.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Elementary education takes a major share of the total education expenditure and the share of the higher/tertiary education (institutions of higher learning like colleges, polytechnics and university) is the least.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in chemistry. I want to be a professional teacher of chemistry.
