Shri Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan Ayurved Mahavidyalaya Yavatmal (SGMSAM Yavatmal) is one of the reputed private ayurvedic colleges in Maharashtra. It was established in 1992. The Gajanan Maharaj Ayurvedic College is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, and is approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicines. Duration: 5 and 1/2 years (including 1 year of compulsory internship). Eligibility: Students must have passed the 10 + 2 standard with science (PCB) or any other examination recognized as equivalent to the same and with English as one of the languages. Admission process: Students are admitted to the BAMS course on the merit basis obtained in the NEET conducted by NTA.
