Placements: Currently, there is no placement cell in our remote sensing & geo-informatics department. However, during the dissertation period of 6 months in our final semester, 6 students went for an internship at 3 different places (Bhopal, Dehradun and Jodhpur) where no stipend was offered (it was strictly academics based). These 6 students were given some kind of professional work regarding geographic information system (GIS) which we studied in this course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure seems to be okay, but the most attractive thing about this university is that it is Wi-Fi enabled for everyone present within the university. Other facilities are not that much of concern as the management only maintains it to the optimal level for people to use it.
Faculty: My Course is Masters in Science of Remote Sensing & Geo-Informatics, which is a professional course in the field of Remote Sensing & Geographic Information System. Nowadays with sciences integrating into every field related to your day to day life and with development in this science, the technology is created for sustainable developement.
Other: Our university is located on the fringes of Ajmer city which is a negative as it has very fewer facilities apart from the infrastructure. There are places within the university like Places to Eat - Restaurants, fast food, entertainment. Especially for the transport facility, it is very inadequate.
