This college provides good infrastructure, but placements are not fine.
Placements: There was no fixed schedule for the placements. The companies visit our campus to hire students. Internships will be provided to some students not based on the percentage, but it was only luck otherwise they had to search by themselves.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good, but the hostel was not available on campus. The students had to take the room or hostel outside the campus. There was one canteen on campus, and the price for food was good. Some sports were also available. The students will get ayurvedic medicines.
Faculty: In this college, teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Some were teaching only for money. The course curriculum was relevant, and they make students industry-ready but lack practical knowledge. The laboratory in charge was not good. Exams were dependent only on the syllabus and it was not hard.

Studies are good, and the campus is lush green and good, but the placements are not available.
Placements: I am a student of B.Tech agricultural engineering, 3rd year. In the final year, the university sends all students for training in places like Budhni Hisar Assam, etc., in tractor company for 60 days. No other companies come to our campus. Other courses are available in our university, like food engineering.
Infrastructure: The facilities in our university are average, and the classrooms are spacious and have good ventilation. The labs are well maintained. Wi-Fi is available for every student for study purpose. The hostel is available for girls but not for boys. Safety is the best in girls hostel, and food in the canteen is good sometimes.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and good in their fields. The university offers approximately 70 to 75 courses in every field like engineering, sports, painting, PhD, B.Sc. etc. The teachers are supportive and familiar to students.
Other: I chose B.Tech agriculture because I am interested in this course. I think the university should provide more practical knowledge in every course.

Our college needs improvement in the infrastructure of the institution.
Placements: Our college needs to work on placement for students, due to less infrastructure and interest of college authority no recruitment done in the year. Only two to three students got recruited off-campus in tractor company named Captain Tractors.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't provide any hostel facility for boys.. No department library is there in the institution, and they don't provide Wi-Fi. Only Central library situated in the main building of university with very limited books of all departments. No facility is available for the computer lab. Canteen, medical facilities, sports and games also need improvement in terms of facilities and infrastructure.
Faculty: Course work was satisfactory and relevant. Teachers were enough qualified, but we needed more faculty members for the department. There were very few faculty members in the institution who need to cover all subjects. The institution also needs to improve the facility for projects of final year students as due to a shortage of faculty members they suffer more.
Other: I chose this course because agricultural engineering is a multidisciplinary course which includes all departments engineering principles. It helps farmers technically and improves food production.

Placements: The college doesn't offer any placement opportunities. Most of the students are opting for postgraduation after the completion of their graduation in MGCGV. The education and the reputation of the college are the only benefits of the college, but there is no scope for placements. You can get a private job or any other if you want to to get a job. You can get only the degree from this institute.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is beautiful. The infrastructure very attractive, and there is a garden available here. Classrooms, smart classes and labs are very old, and they constructed some new labs last year. The college also has a central library, but it doesn't have any interesting books. Medical facilities provided in this college are good, and the college also has a good gym. Sports and games facilities available if you are interested to take part.
Faculty: This college is good if you are an average student. But this college is not good enough if you want to gain knowledge. Some teachers have great knowledge, and their teaching skills are nice. However, other teachers are not much interested in teaching. They just come and teach, but they don't help students gain any practical knowledge.
Other: The college organises many events. The campus crowd is not that high. Connectivity to the campus with bus and train mediums is good. The college also provides scholarships.

It is not good to pursue B.Tech food technology here as there are no proper faculty and labs.
Placements: None of the companies visited the campus for placement at our time. There was one company visited the campus to hire the students of the third year when we were in the 1st year. The salary offered to them was Rs.10,000 per month. The post offered was not of the food technologist, and the students were offered some roles in the quality control domain. Our HOD refers to some jobs to the students that there are some vacancies you can go and talk. The jobs were a quality chemist, and some are even the job of machine operators, which is not related to the B.Tech students. They don't have any plans for their students future. If they know any job, they will inform you without even knowing the job role. There is no such things exist as proper campus placement, while they have almost 30-50 students in a batch. There are no internships provided by the college. You have to arrange for yourself. HOD will provide the internships to students whose parents have some link with the HOD. Even if you arrange the internship on your own in your 2nd or 3rd year, they will not give you the letter of recommendation by saying that you can't go for internship other than your 7th semester. They provide the internships to students who have some kind of relationship with them like with their parents or they are knowing them previously. Other than that, you have to go to the HOD and then ask for that. But they don't have any plans to arrange internships for all their students.
Infrastructure: There is a Wi-Fi facility with a speed, i.e., lower than that of 2G. There are several Wi-Fi networks here, but they are not accessible to students. Even some faculty members change the password of student Wi-Fi so that students can't use it. If they see that you are using the Wi-Fi in the corridor, they will shout on you and even humiliate you that why are you using Wi-Fi, just get lost from there. Labs are just too old they are not updated even some equipment doesn't work at all. Even lab attended don't know how to use them. They also don't issue the things for the practical easily. They always threaten you that they can influence your degree by a complaint to the HOD. There are some new instruments also, but they are inaccessible to the students. There is no one to teach microbiology practicals which is a very important subject for food technology. Labs of fluid mechanics are the worst, and you will never know what is going on there. When you go, there is not enough space for 30-40 students. When you go there, nothing is available, and even the lab attended will always threaten you for attendance short and marks manipulation. In your dissertation, you have to outsource for some basic testings because they are not available in the department. Equipment is available but there is nobody to tell you how and what to do. Even chemicals are not available there. If you outsource for the testings, the department will not fund you, all you have to arrange by yourself because you want your degree on time. There is one mini hospital, and the doctor is also available as he can give you first aid. You can play cricket on your own on the ground. Some students organise cricket tournament on their own. They are no such thing like annual sports day. There are games which are taught by PT teacher, but they are only for the students of physical education students. There is an NSS unit also, but they don't allow B.Tech students, and I don't know why. There is no particular classroom for any branch you have to move all day from here to there for the classes. Some classes are held by combining other branches. There is an old way of teaching as no use of PPTs or internet. Canteen is average. The library is the worst and there is no internet facility. The librarian reissues the books to their known only and even hide the books for them. They also humiliate the students. There is no online system for the maintenance of book management. The book can be found in any unrelated subj
Faculty: There is only one permanent faculty in the college, and the rest of others are guest who changes every session. The HOD is not even from food technology properly as he has done his B.Tech from agriculture engineering, and his master's degree is from food technology. He doesn't have a PhD though. He is not supportive and always threaten them that you all are of no use. He never listens to you even if you are right, he always thought that he is right, no matter what. He doesn't have knowledge of all fields of food technology and even doesn't know about the competition exam of food technology so don't even discuss to the students to the future perspectives of the branch. Every session there are maximum 3 guest faculty choose by the HOD. He can choose even the most undeserving person and that blame the students that you are of no use. He can appoint agricultural engineering studied student to teach food technology students. They never took the students to industry visit. They invite some random people as a guest speaker which may be or may not be related to your subject. Even they humiliate students in front of the speakers also. The HOD only takes 3-4 classes during the entire session and the question he gives in the exam are always doubtful. How many numbers you get in the exam you don't know because he can give any question in the exam which he doesn't even teach. The food technology syllabus is not updated since 1991. Even we have to study subjects which are not useful for our branch. The way of teaching is not modern. Even classes are not running properly. There is not even a single day when all the classes held together. The teachers have an ego problem, if they teach wrong you can't tell them because they thought that how can you teach them. There is no proper guidance because they don't know about the branch. Many appointed guest teachers don't have a bachelor's degree in food technology. If you are not self-aware, there is no chance of getting knowledge by the college. Some guest faculty members are very good, but they changed in every session.
Other: There is only an engineer's day which is celebrated in the college in which teachers don't have much interest. You have to arrange your funds. There is food day also, but it will hold every year or not, it is questionable. There are no such things like tech fest. There are some events organised by the university, but the B.Tech students remain unaware of that. The department does not convey the message properly if some invitation comes from other institutions for fests/programs. There will be no funds provided if you go outside. The campus crowd is good. The campus is surrounded by nature. There are a few options available for food, daily needs, etc. You have to go 1-2 km for the proper market. If you want to purchase some big things like B.Ed table, chair or the thesis work, you have to go 10 km ahead. There is no special scholarship provided by the college. There is a scholarship which provided to OBC/ST, SC students by Madhya Pradesh government. The student welfare department doesn't provide any information regarding other scholarships if students go there, they will try their best to irritate you by saying that these schemes are not available here. So students come with disappointment. There is no facility to pay the fee online, and you don't have any student login ID. Results are not published on the website, they just announced on display board. The evaluation system is not transparent, which type of result will come you can't say. There is a foundation day celebration as an event. There are no specific extracurricular activities in academics. Some activities can take place, but very few are reached to B.Tech students.

Review of Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot University.
Placements: Not many of our batchmates or seniors got placed by the placement cell. To be honest, there is no placement cell in our university. The student themselves find a way to get a job in the industry. So, there needs to be a placement cell for sure in the university, and that will be helpful for the students to get placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is damn good except for the labs which are quite outdated. There are Wi-Fi labs and good classrooms. There are no proper sports and games facilities. The food in the canteen is average. Hostel rooms are as pathetic as it can be. I haven't faced any issues regarding the infrastructure during my tenure.
Faculty: The faculty members in the college are great. Some renowned professors guide the students. The teaching quality was great during my tenure. I didn't find any issues. The teaching methods are quite modern I guess. The student to faculty ratio was around 17:1. I got an opportunity to visit the Bikanervala Industry for my industrial visit. The course curriculum is useful.
