at MJPRU, Bareilly

For admission to MSc Microbiology the candidate should have cleared BSc. Three years course with 45% marks having Zoology Botany, Chemistry Biotechnology, Industrial Microbiology, Microbiology combination or BSc Medical Microbiology or Biotechnology or Bioscience. MJPRU MSc Admission 2022: Under the stream of Science, the University offers a full-time two-year MSc Programme at the PG level. MJPRU admissions to the MSc Programme are based on the MJPRU Entrance Exam conducted by the University. 

MJPRU admissions are either entrance or merit-based. Candidates have to qualify for the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for any of the UG & PG courses. For PG courses, MJPRU conducts the MJPRU entrance exam. Apart from that for courses such as BPharm, BTech, MBA, MCA, etc., the university accepts valid scores of JEE Main, CUET UG & CUET PG entrance exams. Further, for other UG courses, admissions are entirely based on the merit obtained in the previous qualifying exam.

MJPRU Bareilly admissions are both merit and entrance-based for respective UG and PG courses. For a few UG courses such as BA, BSc, BCom, etc., admissions are offered based on candidates' merit scores obtained in their last qualifying exam. Further, to get admission to courses such as LLB, MEd, MSc, etc., candidates have to qualify for the university-level entrance exam. For other UG and PG courses, Rohilkhand University accepts a valid scores of CUET UG and CUET PG entrance exams. Later on, the selected students are allocated seats via a counselling process. The University offers over 30 programmes at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate level. A few of the courses provided by the university include BTech, MA, MSc, LLB, LLM, B.Ed, MEd, and more. Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University admissions to various courses are either entrance or merit-based. Moreover, the University also conducts an entrance exam for admission to MSc, LLB, B.Ed, B.El.Ed, BPEd, MEd and LLM programmes.

Students who are offered BPharma admission to MJPRU must report to the university campus with original copies of the following documents:

• Provisional/pass certificate of the last qualifying examination
• Class 10 marksheet
• Class 12 marksheet
• Transfer certificate
• Date of Birth Certificate
• Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC students
• Income certificate for SC/ST/OBC/EWS students
• Migration certificate

The University offers both scholarships and financial assistance to its undergraduate and postgraduate students. However, students can apply for various scholarships offered by the Government. Some of the National Scholarships include the Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Professional &Technical Courses (Minorities), the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students, the Graduate Scholarship for Professional Courses for SC/ST, Post Graduate Merit Scholarship for University Rank Holders, and Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child.

As per the latest notice, CUET PG 2024 Examination is most likely to be conducted from March 11 ,2024 to March 28, 2024. The examination form is available on the official website from December 26,2023 . Examination is conducted in two languages- Hindi and English.
