The University has a separate hostel for boys and girls. The main hostel has accommodation for over 250 students. Moreover, the hostel facilities include water coolers, common rooms, phones, xerox machines, Sports Facilities, Canteen, Mess Facility, T.V. facilities, Vehicle Stand, etc.

MJPRU admissions are either entrance or merit-based. Candidates have to qualify for the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for any of the UG & PG courses. For PG courses, MJPRU conducts the MJPRU entrance exam. Apart from that for courses such as BPharm, BTech, MBA, MCA, etc., the university accepts valid scores of JEE Main, CUET UG & CUET PG entrance exams. Further, for other UG courses, admissions are entirely based on the merit obtained in the previous qualifying exam.

The University offers over 30 programmes at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate level. A few of the courses provided by the university include BTech, MA, MSc, LLB, LLM, B.Ed, MEd, and more. Moreover, the University also conducts an entrance exam for admission to MSc, LLB, B.Ed, B.El.Ed, BPEd, MEd and LLM programmes.

MJPRU Bareilly admissions are both merit and entrance-based for respective UG and PG courses.
