It is good for textile engineering. It is the best college of West Bengal for textile technology.

Placements: Placements in the Government College of Engineering and Textile Technology are pretty good for textile apparel branch students. Almost all students in this branch are placed through on-campus placement. It provides pretty good internships for students.

Haldia Institute of Technology.

Placements: While placements aren't exceptional, they are not dismissals either. On the first day, our course professors assured us that if we attended classes diligently and followed the curriculum, a job would be guaranteed. However, the salary package is too low in that case. To secure a more competitive salary, students must go beyond the classroom and put in significant extra effort on their own. In conclusion, while not comparable to top colleges like IITs or NITs, the ROI is solid. I am giving 4 star...

Review of Guru Nanak Institute of Technology.

Placements: On average, 20% of students are placed here every year but the college authority says that in our college, they give 90% placement for advertisements, but this is not fully true. The highest package on campus is 6.5 LPA. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. In the past few years, there have been no company visits to our college for my courses. Students get internships on campus in software service and product-based companies but not in a core company. Network developer...

I suggest this college for students who are searching for jobs. It is the best college.

Placements: Our college offers great placements at the best companies. Packages are good. Various types of interviews are going there. If someone is not able to crack the 1st interviews, it will be applicable to others. Group B and C companies are not bad. They are good for freshers.

Kind MC people. Especially the greenhouse opposite the college. Named as Harinchawra Chatrabas.

Placements: Placement is not good enough as compared to other government engineering colleges. A few on-campus placements are here. Companies like L&T, Adani, Wipro, Cognizant, etc. Or you can go for off-campus. That's how you will get better opportunities. Hope this will help.
