Placements: A total of 70% of students at Haldia Institute of Technology graduation cohort received job offers although the institution believes all students will find employment before this academic year ends. Companies have represented packages ranging from 40 LPA (off-campus) and 12 LPA (on-campus) up to 5 LPA average. The lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. Top companies are IBM, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, PwC, TCS, Wipro, etc. Internships are obtained by between 20 to 30% of students who participated in these companies. Top positions available as part of placements include associate system engineer, system engineer, ASE, and AASE.
Infrastructure: Haldia Institute of Technology demonstrates excellence through its infrastructure which includes highly connected Wi-Fi and well-appointed labs together with extensive classroom space. There is an impressive library full of learning materials. Hostel maintains well-embellished rooms and features round-the-clock available internet connection. Other: The Master of Computer Application course at Haldia Institute of Technology compelled me because I love technology alongside its exceptional track record in placements. Our course at Haldia Institute of Technology offers three outstanding advantages through its experienced teaching faculty members along with its industry-relevant curriculum which students access in fully equipped laboratories. The program shows room for enhancement in the areas of practical learning and selected courses. Technovation alongside cultural festivals organizes events that foster both learning and networking experiences at this college. Review of Guru Nanak Institute of Technology.
Placements: On average, 20% of students are placed here every year but the college authority says that in our college, they give 90% placement for advertisements, but this is not fully true. The highest package on campus is 6.5 LPA.
The lowest package is 2.5 LPA.
The average package is 4.5 LPA.
In the past few years, there have been no company visits to our college for my courses.
Students get internships on campus in software service and product-based companies but not in a core company.
Network developer is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are helpful and friendly with most of the students mostly departmental faculty but beside this, there are a few more faculty who cannot help the students and they are doing very unfair to the students. In the hostel, food quality is average but the campus of this college is one of the finest.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful; they are highly educated and their teaching quality is below average.
The semester exam at this college is quite easy and the pass percentage is 90%.
Few teachers are sweet.
This course curriculum is not bad
.
Other: The department and faculty members are good.
In terms of culture and sports, our college is the best.

One can try this college.
Placements: There are so many students who take admission. So I don't know about placements. But for senior information, I think there are a lot of chances to get huge placements. I don't trust in college placement cases, it depends on our facility. So try best to get huge placements.
Infrastructure: Very good facilities and campus is so beautiful. There are medical camps on campus. There are many hostels available. Hostel food is too good. I think there are two canteens available near campus. Sports ground is too long.
Faculty: It is difficult because of MAKUT degree. But if we study well, we will enjoy the exams so much. Teachers are so helpful. If our basic is not clear then we can call the subject teacher for help. I think this is the reason I recommend this college as the best college.
Other: Events are so enjoyable.

A little bit about BIT (Bengal Institute of Technology).
Placements: The college placements are quite good. Many companies visit the college for placements. This year the highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 6-10 LPA. Basically, companies like TCS hired many students from the college.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, a library, halls, offices, and labs all are clean and in a working position which has a good effect on students' studies. There is no personal hostel by college but around the college or nearby college, there are many PGs for both boys and girls separately.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, understanding, and very friendly. The course curriculum makes the course period easier and more interesting in this college. Due to the nice faculty members and organised curriculum, the course period gets easier and more interesting. There are a total of 4 years, which means 8 semesters, and each semester happens after 6 months.
Other: The course is of 4 years. Batchmates are very nice and polite. Everyone has different interests in the tech field.

Review : Faculty improvement is needed; infrastructure is decent but lacks sufficient amenities.
Placements: Around 60-70% of placements occur every year. The highest package till now was 22.4 LPA in 2022, while the lowest was 2 LPA, with an average around 1-2 LPA. Top recruiters include sales companies like Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, etc.
Internships are not pursued by many students due to insufficient college guidance, hence providing no perfect answers to this. There are no top roles; only sales companies have come for placements so far. Most placements are secured by students off-campus.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not provided by the college, except for a limited 32 MB access. Labs are well-maintained and air-conditioned. Classrooms have an older appearance and are not in proper condition. The library is the best-maintained place, suitable for studying in summer but lacks air-conditioning. Hostel facilities are average. The girls' hostel offers single rooms, double rooms with attached bathrooms, and double rooms with common bathrooms. Boys' hostel only provides double rooms with common bathrooms. The previous hostel fee for boys was 30,000, now increased to 36,000. For girls, single rooms cost 50,000, double rooms with attached bathrooms are 45,000, and double rooms with common bathrooms are 36,000. Sports activities like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, and recently added kho-kho are conducted regularly. However, there is no badminton court on campus; it is available only in the boys' hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are good if students study; teaching quality is average and not very engaging. If made more interesting, attendance would likely improve. BCET is affiliated with MAKAUT, but its curriculum does not seem industry-relevant as it includes subjects like Biology and EVS which are of limited use. Semester exam difficulty is average; MAKAUT's exam patterns sometimes cover only 1-2 modules out of 5-6, necessitating thorough study of all modules.
Other: Events are occasionally organized, but participation is low as opportunities are limited to consistently performing students, with few chances for newcomers. This discourages many students from participating.
