MGKVP Varanasi UG, PG, Certificate Courses 2025

Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP), Varanasi usually concludes the application process between May and July for most of its courses across. Candidates seeking admission must fulfil the eligibility and other requirements for final seat allotment and should fill out the application by paying the required application fee before the specified last date. Those who qualify for all the admission rounds will be required to report to the admission cell at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP), Varanasi for document verification and fee payment.

The University has recorded good placement numbers during the 2022-23 academic year. A total of 591 UG and 74 PG students were placed. Further, the median package for UG (3-year) and UG (4-year) courses stood at INR 3.37 LPA and INR 6 LPA, respectively. At the PG level, the median package for PG (1-year) and PG (2-year) courses was INR 6.50 LPA and INR 3.37 LPA, respectively.

There is no provision for direct admission to the MBA programme of MGKVP, Varanasi. Candidates seeking admission to the MBA programme must fulfil the following requirements:

• The candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree irrespective of the discipline.
• Candidates must have valid scores in CUET-PG to be eligible to register for the counselling process for MBA at MGKVP, Varanasi.
• Candidates will have to report to the admission cell at MGKVP on the specified date for document verification and final round admission process leading to final seat allotment.

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) course of MG Kashi Vidyapith is a three-year programme. It follows a semster pattern and is divided into six semesters. In each semesters, students are required to study certain core (complusory) and elective subjects. These subjects vary depending on the choice of specialisation. The curriculum is designed in accordance with the NEP 2020.

STEP 1: Application Process 2025

The application process for MGKVP Varanasi is conducted via online mode. Candidates, who fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria set by the university, can submit a duly filled application form along with the required documents and an application fee*. 2. Click on “Apply Now” and signup/log in using the valid credentials. 
3. Fill in the required personal and academic details.
4. Upload the required documents, including the qualifying exam marksheet and a passport-size photograph.
5. Pay the application fee online via Debit/ Credit card or net banking.

STEP 2: Selection/ Shortlisting of candidates | MGKVP admission to various courses is merit-based or entrance exam-based. The university considers the scores of several national/state-level entrance exams.  STEP 3: Payment of Admission Fee & Admission Confirmation | Candidates selected for various UG, PG, and doctoral courses need to pay the admission fee of the course to confirm their admission at the university.
