The eligible students can fill out the application form to apply. The admission process is carried out through a centralised allotment process (CAP). Candidates are selected based on their score in the last qualifying exam. MGU BA application forms can be filled out via online or offline modes. To apply online, students need to visit the university's official website. The steps to apply are as follows:

Step 1: Visit the MGU CAP official website and click on “Account Creation”.

Step 2: Enter basic details to generate a login ID and password.

Step 3: After account creation, an 8-digit application number is provided that the student must retain.

Step 4: Fill out the application form.

Step 5: Payment of the application fee.

Step 6: Upload the digital copies of the important documents.

Step 7: Take a printout of the confirmation page.

As per the MGU UG Brochure for admission through CAP, the complete admission schedule is available. The application form was released on May 15. Additionally, the last date to apply and for fee payment is Jun 7. Eligible students shall submit their applications on or before the prescribed deadline. After the closing of application window, the provisional rank list is expected to be published on Jun 12.

The university BA course curriculum include theory, practical, and project wise subjects. Each of the semester include some of these subjects. Theory subjects included in the Mahatma Gandhi University BA course curriculum are enlisted below:

Candidates are admitted to this course based on their aggregate in the last qualifying exam, i.e., Class 12. A selection list can be released to announce the names of the students eligible for admission by the university in online mode. Mahatma Gandhi Univerity Common Admission Test (MGU CAT) application fee is announced category-wise. The application fee for general and open all-India quota candidates is INR 1,200 and INR 600 for the SC/ST candidates. Moreover, the fee for international candidates is UD 100. The fee payment shall be accepted in online mode via credit card, debit card, or net banking.

No, a CUET score is not required for admission to MG University courses. There is no information available regarding the same officially. Admission to the MGU Kerala courses is merit and entrance-based. The university also conducts an in-house entrance examination, which is the Mahatma Gandhi University Common Admission Test (MGU CAT).  It is conducted for admissions to various PG programmes offered by the University such as MSc, MA, Master of Tourism and Travel Management, LLM and M.Ed. In addition, many national-level exam scores are also accepted for admission.

The MSc placement report 2023 is not released as of now. However, as per the university NIRF report 2023, the median package offered during MG University PG 2-year placements in 2022 stood at INR 5 LPA. In addition, a total of 87 students were placed out of 440 students during PG 2-year placements in 2022. A dip of nearly 17% is seen in the PG 2-year median package offered in 2022 as compared with 2021.

• MGU UG application form was released on May 15 and the last date to apply was Jun 7. Additionally, the provisional merit list shall be published was Jun 12.
• The last date to apply for MBA and MGU-CAT was May 5, 2024. CAT-MGU was held between May 17 and May 18, 2024. Admission to most of the PG courses is based on MGU CAT conducted by the university.
