It is an excellent college.

Placements: It is an excellent college. It provides students with a bright future. Our college has excellent placements. Top recruiting companies like the Federal Reserve Bank, the State Bank of India, etc., visit our campus. Around 56% of students get internships.

Infrastructure: It's a great choice to consider. The teachers are efficient and well-educated. They are motivational and supportive. There are well-established labs. It is the biggest library with more than 120000 books available. The hostel facility and food available are good. A canteen is available. The college also gives importance to sports and games.

Faculty: Our teachers are well-educated and efficient. They are very supportive and motivational. The course is good and makes students industry-ready. Subjects are difficult to grasp. The semester exams are difficult, but it's not impossible to take them. The pass percentage is 45% to 50%.

Other: Economics is a course that makes students economically knowledgeable. The course is both enjoyable and challenging. Events and programs are excellent. Our college organises excellent programs such as Ecofiesta, the Bishop Vayalil Volleyball Tournament, etc. It's an excellent choice to consider.

Good & helpful faculty.Dissatisfied with placements. Good infrastructure & facilities are available

Placements: Being an Arts and Science College and an Arts Stream there were not many students placed in our course. Only one in 60 got placement. The package offered to him is 4 LPA. South Indian Bank, Federal Bank and ESAF Small Finance Bank conducted placement drives last year. More than 50 students got placements from various courses and they were placed as clerks and probationary officers in different banks.

Infrastructure: Overall the facilities and infrastructure available are satisfactory. There were no separate classrooms for 1st and 2nd-year students. They are using common classrooms. 3rd year and PG students are provided with separate classrooms. The Department library was not available but the college library is big and has a collection of a wide range of books on different subjects. Along with the library, a University Study Center was also functioning which provides access to more than 100 e-journals. I was not a hosteler so I cannot say much more about it. Once a strike was conducted by the hostlers because of the poor quality of the food in the hostel mess during our 1st year. The food in the college canteen is good and they are available at a reasonable price. The facilities available for sports and games are good. Grounds for Football, Volleyball, and Basketball are available. Integrated Sports Complex was also available which consists of Indoor Courts for Badminton and a Swimming Pool of International standards. Coaching for swimming was available for students at reasonable fees. Both indoor gym & outdoor gym facility was also available.

Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching methods are usual. All of them completed the syllabus before the semester exams and conducted two or more test papers in between the semesters and model exams were conducted before every semester exams. Course Curriculum was prepared by MG University and it is relevant. Semester exams are conducted by University and there was some time lag in conducting the semester exams. Most of the exams are conducted late. For an average studying student, it is easy to pass all the papers.

Other: I choose this course because that this course will provide more opportunities in the future and I was curious to know more about the subject. The main events conducted in the college are Union Day Inauguration, Onam & Christmas Celebration, Arts Day and College Day. College Union conducted Interdepartmental Cricket, Football & Tug Of War Tournaments every year. Every department has its fests. They are conducted every year. Camarena by Commerce Department and Eco Fiesta by Economics are a few among them. Bus connectivity is available. KSRTC & Private Buses are available from the college bus stop to all the nearby places. Financial assistance is available for all eligible students. E-Grantz and KPCR are two among the few. College also provides scholarships to all topper students and a department-wise scholarship was also available. Many of the clubs are functioning in the college. English Speaking Club, Music Club and Acting club are few among them. NSS and NCC units are active in the college. The membership is optional.
