Step 2: Selection Process / MIT-WPU CET

MIT-WPU Pune selection procedure is different for all the BTech courses offered by the WPU School of Engineering &Technology and Computer Science & Engineering. The institute conducts the MIT-WPU CET entrance examination 2025 and Personal Interaction (PI) for students who are planning to pursue the Integrated BTech after the 10th programme. Applicants will receive the entrance test link for MIT-WPU CET. Candidates with a valid qualification for the Integrated BTech after the 10th course are eligible to appear for the test.

MIT-WPU shortlists students for the regular BTech course and Integrated B.Tech – M.Tech programmes based on entrance exam scores of JEE 2025/ MHT-CET 2025/ PERA 2025/ MHT-CET-B* 2025/ NEET* 2025 score and followed by Statement of Purpose (500 words) written by the candidate. Further, for the direct second year lateral entry is based on the Statement of Purpose (500 words) written by the candidate.

Step 3: Merit List

MIT-WPU Pune prepares the admission merit lists based on the entrance exam score and other selection rounds conducted by the institute. The merit lists will be displayed on the institute website dashboard. The seat allocations will be done based on merit, and vacancies in the BTech course. Candidates will receive a provisional offer letter upon successful selection Number.

Step 4: Final Admission

Candidates who are on the merit lists must proceed with the further admission process, including fee payment, self-registration, eligibility verification, and submission of original documents as required. The selected candidates need to pay the seat acceptance fees and complete the self-registration process within the prescribed date.

The BTech course duration is four years and is a full-time program divided into 12 trimesters.
