I am very satisfied with this college.
Placements: There are no placements in this course. Internships are offered and the stipend is decent. Few unpaid internships are also offered. It is not always necessary that you will get internships because of your specialisation. One of the students got an internship in one of the institutions that work for Parkinson's Disorder. Students get their internships in the health center.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good. The food quality is decent. It has a health center where students get free treatment irrespective of department or faculty members. There are many specialist courses in this college.
Faculty: Professors provide in-depth knowledge. They arrange field trips so that students can face the reality. Semester exams are very good.
Other: Events are conducted named cultural day and mental awareness day. Seminars are also conducted. There are ample opportunities in this course. I would recommend students to join this college.

It is a good university, but there are some management issues.
Placements: Placements and internships are good, but salary packages are not that good. Students are placed at the university itself, which is also a good perk.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite old. They have been renovating all the departments. They provide students with better classrooms and other amenities. The psychology department in particular still has a long way to go, but with the renovations, it will be alright soon. The hostel does have all the basic facilities, including the mess, but it's not very hygienic. It is better to stay in a PG or hostel outside the college, as it almost costs the same.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, but they are unaware of certain things. Exams are not that difficult. Students can easily pass if they study what's being taught in the class. A bachelor's degree might not make students ready for actual jobs. A master's degree is a must for that. The pass percentage is almost 90%.
Other: I chose this course because of my keen interest in psychology. The best thing is that I get to help people. I wish that we were given more assignments and practicals because it is very important in our field to have good communication and observation skills. There are very few events, but that will change this year with a new committee. The crowd here is pretty good. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

My experience at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
Placements: There is not much competition, sometimes students with lower marks can still get admission. We haven't found good internship or placement opportunities yet. In our course, there are not many job opportunities after completing the bachelor's degree. In Master's, after choosing a specific subject, we can pursue counseling in that area. But we haven't seen much support for placements for students yet.
Infrastructure: College provides free Wi-Fi. Infrastructure in some departments is okay, while other departments need improvement. Classrooms are of medium quality, and it varies depending on the department. Sports and physical activities are provided at a very low cost, which is truly helpful for students. Hostel provides good quality food in the mess. They provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner costing around Rs. 100 to Rs. 120 daily. A full thali including dal, rice, sabji, roti, salad, papad, and achar is served. For fast food, we can visit the central canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and supportive towards students. We haven't witnessed any faculty members who behave inappropriately. Overall, the faculty's behavior towards students is good. Curriculum is also relevant and helpful in the future. We find the curriculum to be very helpful for our growth and knowledge in psychology. Exams are easy.
Other: I have been interested in psychology since 10th grade. After the coronavirus pandemic, we can see that many people, especially the youth and children, are facing mental health issues. This is a time when mental health issues are slowly being acknowledged and prioritized. I hope to become skilled in counseling to help individuals with their mental health problems. Campus here is large and beautiful, surrounded by many trees. College didn't organize any events, fests or extracurricular activities yet.

It is worth it. It has good faculty and facilities.
Placements: The strong knowledge base helped all of us build upon our skills and secure various internships and opportunities. During graduation, more than placements, it is more about preparing ourselves to work in different capacities and work as a psychologist in the future. I passed out during the pandemic when final exam conduction itself took place after a lot of difficulties, so placement was not an option in those difficult times.
Infrastructure: Facilities were good. Wi-Fi was available, labs were good, classrooms had projector set up also to show us ppts. In the beginning years, we get access to Memorial library which has limited resources but later on when we get membership of Hansa Mehta Library, we get a lot of facilities. From books to research articles, everything is easily available and accessible. I was a localites so I don't have first hand experience of staying in girls hostel but I have visited the mess. I and all my friends preferred food from the canteen in Psychology department or another canteen in Faculty of Arts.
Faculty: Teachers were all qualified and knowledgeable. Many of the concepts were made very easy to comprehend. Their voices are etched in our memory forever. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester examinations are difficult. If we attend classes well, practice previous year's question papers bought from the university, read books and pamphlets, and practice questions and answers daily, we can get good marks in all subjects. Core subjects are very important, so never lose sight of the main subject while preparing for exams for other allied, foundation, and elective subjects. The clarity of the basics is what makes this course worthwhile.
Other: I chose this course as I liked the subject psychology in 11th and 12th grade when I had psychology as one of the subjects in board exams and studied the basics thoroughly. Infrastructure and lab equipment availability are two aspects that could be improved upon in the upcoming years. The campus crowd is welcoming. Events and fests are fun-filled and memorable. The campus surroundings are peaceful, and extracurricular activities are also encouraged. We get a memorable experience of networking, forming many connections, friendships, group activities, and studying in a class.

Review of Maharaja Sayajirao University.
Placements: Our university offers placements after master's with an average salary between Rs 20,000 per month to Rs 40,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are from Gujarat itself. Maximum students get placements.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. Library is peaceful to study, and Wi-Fi is available. Psychology laboratory is also available. Canteen facilities are provided. Courses like arts, science, etc., have different canteens. Our campus is green.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, kind, and friendly. As this is a grade university, students are given powerpoint presentations to study. Semester exams are tough as it is a government university.
Other: I chose this course, because I want to pursue my career in this field. Our university should improve faculty members, as they lack mass capacity intake of students in classrooms. Our college organises fests like culture day, etc. It is a very well-reputed university all over the world. There are 120 students in our college.
