Polytechnic, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
Placements: Around 80% of students get placed with a very decent package, and other students opt for further studies, meaning it has 100% placement. The highest package offered was 6 Lacs, which is good enough for a diploma holder fresher. Top recruiters are Air Products, L & T. The lowest package offered was 2 Lacs. Top roles offered are Mechanical Engineering Head, Lead Engineer, Construction Manager, and many more. If you score 7+ CGPA, you are definitely going to be placed in the companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very beautiful and structured like an old palace. It has separate faculty members and departments, and the campus is enormous. It covers 1/5th of the city. Libraries, sports pavilion, multipurpose halls, canteens, hostels, hospital, stationery, all are on the campus, so you don’t need to go outside. Full of trees, peacocks, and elegant birds around the campus, you will love the environment here.
Faculty: Faculty members here are so humble and supportive towards students (if you cooperate with them), and their teaching style reflects experience and excellence. They give you moral support and motivate students for their best attempt in academics and personal life. The professors teach beyond books and push the students to real-world problems. For every subject, there are 2 faculty members who divide the syllabus between them and easily complete it before exams. No need to study after college hours, you will just need a revision. That is the level of the studies here.
Other: Overall, the campus life is very good, and the university has many club tie-ups with government authorities for the development of students. Event organizing is also good, and fests are organized every week. Many competitions are conducted, and festival celebrations are also enjoyable.

It is a great university.
Placements: About 40% of students were placed. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA, the average was 6 LPA, and the highest was 11 LPA. The top recruiter was Reliance. Around 70% of students got internships in nearby companies like L&T.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were huge. The library was the largest in Vadodara. The whole campus had Wi-Fi, but it was for basic browsing, not for entertainment. All labs and workshops were available.
Faculty: All teachers were experienced. They could help us out with our problems. They were talented.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2020

MSU Baroda is a prestigious university.
Placements: I've completed my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the 2020-2023 batch. We had two divisions, each with 60 students. I don't know the exact number of students who were placed, but top recruiters like Reliance, Tata, Adani, Hitachi, L&T Hydrocarbon, Essar, and Air Products offered quite good packages. Air Products offered the highest package in our batch, at 5 lakhs per annum. The role was specific to that company. However, only one student got placed, and the application for that position was around number 60 to 65, so it was highly competitive.
Infrastructure: I was a local student at that time, so I don't know the exact scenario, but our batchmates told us that the facilities and infrastructure were not up to the mark. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen was poor. So, they preferred to eat at nearby Swaminarayan Bhojnalaya, or sometimes they ordered food online.
Faculty: I would rate the teaching and curriculum 6.5/10. The teachers were really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Semester exams in the college are really difficult to pass. The pass percentage varies between 35 to 40 percentage. If you get more than 2 backlogs in a semester, you will be detained from the University for 1 year.

The college has value for money, campus, and nice faculty.
Placements: About 60% of students of our college got placed. The salary package offered was 1.5 LPA - 2.5 LPA. The teaching staff members were good and very helpful. They always talk to us, discuss our problems, and give us compliments and solutions. They were very friendly behaviour. The college had a good environment, good practical work, and good labs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was great. In the library, all books were available, and the hostel was also good. There were good Wi-Fi facilities and good speed for work. Light and water facilities were also good in the hostel. Our hostel was clean. There was a good environment on our campus.
Faculty: The teachers in our college were very helpful and knowledgeable. The curriculum was relevant and it made students industry-ready. The semester exams were slightly hard. But the teachers were very helpful. All teachers were qualified with very good degrees. This is a good college.
Other: The college conducts events and fests which are good.

Infrastructure: All the facilities like Wi-Fi, library, and canteen were available but needs good management. The classrooms need to be clean regularly. Our college also has facilities like a volleyball court, stationery store, and also a parking facility. Overall, the facilities were good in our college.
