The college is good in terms of course. However, the curriculum is very hectic.
Placements: Placements in the college were not that great. Only a few companies visited the campus for placements. Most of the students from our field are interested to get placed in R&D firms, which is very tough for students. Placements for our batch were better than our senior batch.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not excellent, but it is good enough. There is Wi-Fi connection which is accessible at any time on the campus and hostel. Library facility is really good. It is spacious and equipped with full of books. Food and hostel facilities provided are not great. However, they are improving all these amenities.
Faculty: The course curriculum of the college is excellent. Teaching faculty members are also good. The course curriculum covers almost everything which our field demands. Most of the lectures are taught using a projector. Sufficient lectures are arranged to provide in-depth knowledge of a topic. However, the insights they give are vast to grasp.

Emergence of a wiser microbiologist with ability to think independently. Placements were good.
Placements: The influence of environment is such that most students after having completed Masters, go for a PhD. For industry person, since last 5 years, placements are offered from Sunpharma, DRL, Lupin and other leading pharma company with a starting package of about 3 to 4 lakhs per annum. Also, R&D, P&D, QC, QA job profiles were widely offered.
Infrastructure: The college has a Wi-Fi campus and labs with an optimum required instrument. The buildings are old and are renovated again. The classrooms have a Wi-Fi, projectors and good seats, but the government hostels are a bit not up to the mark. The food quality is good as per the rate charged, and the sports activity is highly supported. There are good research labs and guides for mentoring.
Faculty: Teachers are the heart of MSU. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable and moderately helpful. Some faculty members are phenomenal, and few are not good. There are also presentations and interactive sessions. They have a considerable amount of industrial exposure but are high for in the research field. The course curriculum is designed in such a way that all life Science students (zoology, botany, chemistry) of B.Sc can pursue the Master's course. It covers most of the areas a Masters needs from the general microbiology followed by the immunology and then by the bioinformatics.
Other: The campus is always full of energy and crowded with a buzz of events taking place every month. Specifically, in the department of the microbiology and biotechnology, guest lectures are invited from around the globe, and also scholarships are available for all. Also, DSW scholarship is specially designed to open category students.
