M.Sc. in Forensic Science - Batch of 2024
5
5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall best University for M.Sc. In Forensic Sciences Course.
Placements: The placement rate at NFSU is over 71%, which is higher than any other university. The average package is around 18 LPA, and the highest package is 37 LPA. Top hiring companies include Mandiant, Google, Microsoft, Panacea Biotech, and Pinkerton. Over 67% of students received internships at top companies.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are large and equipped with modern technology, and the offices are well-equipped. The Wi-Fi is dependable, but slow during peak hours. The library is a valuable resource, but it can get crowded. The dormitory rooms need more frequent cleaning, and the food quality is inconsistent despite the complaints. The athletic facilities are basic, but the stadium is a great place to relax.
Faculty: The teachers here are highly educated and have extensive knowledge of the subject. They are very helpful and will provide you with any information you need. They not only assist with academic hurdles but also with personal issues. They are like buddies, with whom we can discuss anything. Semester exams are simple, and the pass rate is 73%.

B.Tech.-M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering (Cyber Security) - Batch of 2029

Review of National Forensic Sciences University.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed in the master's degree in the last year according to college data is approximately 80%. There is not a single B.Tech batch that has been passed till now. The highest salary package offered is 67 LPA. The average salary package offered is 13 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Qualcomm, and Microsoft.
Infrastructure: For education purposes, the campus is quite good and well-furnished with exceptional cyber security labs. It is known as the cyber of excellence and is the one of its kind in India with 2 labs each one costing around 120 crores. The hostel here is a drawback. The campus size is very small to accommodate all students so you don't get a hostel for all 5 years. Students get a hostel for 2 years on a merit basis. The food here is exceptionally good, But there is no medical facility. Students should not expect much sports in this university.
Faculty: Teachers here are quite good and highly qualified. The teaching quality is above average. The course curriculum is better than most of the colleges. One can feel it is outdated, but at the end of five years, students are quite ready for the industry. End-semester exams are not a joke. Students need to attempt 4 exams per semester. They are moderately tough.
Other: Since cyber security is an upcoming branch in the industry, it makes students stand out of the crowd. The best thing about our course is that students get to work with high government officials like cyber commandos, etc. Our college should remove unnecessary subjects like engineering graphics and others from our curriculum. The major drawback of this college is that students don't get any fests and events which sums up to almost zero college life. For students who just want nice placements, this is the right place.

Chronicles of Forensics.
Placements: Placement in our College is more in the Cyber-Security-Field. But there are also companies coming in other courses. You should ask about your specific course during the Orientation for placements and companies. Our field has fewer companies coming in our course.
Infrastructure: There is a fully AC Library with two floors. Infrastructure is quite big and it feels like a cozy home. The hostel food is like home food, but sometimes it can be a little bland for international students. The rates for Non-Hostelites are also minimal (70 for lunch and 40 for breakfast and snacks). There is fully time-protected Full-WiFi; also, classrooms have Smartboards and fully working ACs. The Sports facilities are there for indoor games, but not that much for Outdoor Games.
Faculty: The teachers are well educated and deeply knowledgeable. They have deep insights about the topic and any other information you might want to know. Not only do they help with course problems, they also solve problems in our personal life. They are like friends, who we can share about anything.

Totally satisfied with the faculty, environment, outstanding placements in 2023.
Placements: NFSU is definitely worth for M.Sc. Forensic Biotechnology. Even you'll get better placements if you are giving your best throughout the course. Last year the placement percentage was 92% in various companies, and many students even cracked NET (JRF) and many more exams.
Infrastructure: This college has fully equipped labs, which are definitely necessary for the forensic field. The library has all the books related to the courses and needs. AC in every class. Sports arena, good mess food, have canteen too, and mainly the environment of the campus is the best.
Faculty: The faculty is good with fully experienced professors. Even they're always ready to help you in every situation. Obviously, if you're giving your best in studies, you'll definitely not face any problems, and also, they always keep up to date with the new inventions and all.
Other: I passed out in 2023, and I can definitely say that's the best decision to choose this course and college. Definitely worth the money.

M.Tech. in Cyber Security - Batch of 2021

I got the placement from this college, so I am already satisfied.
Placements: You cannot doubt the placement. The college provides one of the best placements for us and has a record of 100% placement. A few of my batchmates received pre-placement offers during the internship program. The efforts of the placement committee are really superb. We have to register our names with the placement committee for placement, which ensures that everyone is properly placed. The highest package for our batch was around 78 LPA, and the average package was around 22.50 LPA. More than 75 companies visited our campus for the college placement drive.
Infrastructure: In the first year of M.Tech, students are typically allotted rooms in the hostel known as 1.8K. The rooms are shared by two occupants, with each person having their own bed, table, chair, and cupboard. The room is equipped with one fan and one tube light. The hostel mess, however, tends to be quite crowded during meal times, and the quality of the food is not considered very good, with many students finding it lacking in taste. Upon reporting to the campus, M.Tech students receive their room allotment and mess card. The accommodation and mess fees for one semester amount to ₹27,000.
Faculty: The curriculum of my program is good and updated. It comprises current trends regarding my major. The curriculum is research-oriented, involving working on projects and discussing real-world case studies. You will learn the best techniques and skills that will help you in your professional life. The grades are evaluated based on your performance in surprise quizzes and tests. However, in the last two semesters, you have to work on a project or conduct research alongside the aforementioned tasks to pass the semester. The faculty are mostly doctorates with good experience who also publish research papers. Most of them are good at teaching, depending on the subjects they deal with, as some theory subjects can be naturally boring. Usually, most of the questions come from classroom lessons. Internal exams are conducted three times a semester, and the best two of three are taken as results in the end. Semester exams are at the end of the fourth month. You can pass easily if you stay alert in classes and study a bit. But due to COVID-19, we currently have online examinations, which should go well since they are multiple-choice questions for both internals (15 questions) and externals (50 questions).
Other: The campus is culturally diverse, giving us opportunities to learn from different cultures. The college provides a good environment for studies and research. Sarang is the annual fest of the college, and Shastra is the technical fest where we get an opportunity to showcase our innovative ideas. The college library is one of the largest in the country, with many books from around the world by various authors. International research journals are also available in the library. The research labs are modern and equipped with all types of tools for research activities. The college infrastructure is well maintained.

Good place to study but average placements
Placements: The placements are okay only. But they are on the low side only. Companies are coming with packages of 4-5 lakhs. But some companies do offer good packages also. The placement process could be improved more, and the package can be increased further in the future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and classrooms is top-notch, with air-conditioned classrooms and smart teaching systems. However, the hostel is a major drawback of the institution, and it has very limited capacity. Also, living outside the institute is very expensive and costly.
Faculty: The faculties are on the average side only. The curriculum is easy for the first year, but a bit tougher in the second year after the foundation of management is taught. Also, there are properly equipped labs for hands-on experience with different tools and software.
