Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

    NIFTEM holds a promising future.
Placements: The NIFTEM proudly boasts 100% placements. In just a short span of 5 years, it has gained a prestigious position for itself. Companies like ITC, Mondelez, Britannia, Nestle, FSSAI, Nabard, HDFC, YES bank, etc., are the regular recruiters. Many students have been offered placements by top MNCs. Some students are working abroad as well while others are selected into prestigious universities for future studies. The average package for B.Tech students is around 4-6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The NIFTEM can be counted in the list of India's most beautiful educational campuses. The campus has full A/C. All the lecture rooms have white boards, a projector, scanner, audio and video facilities. Apart from this, NIFTEM has its own gym. It also has a badminton court in the basement. There is a huge ground for playing football and cricket. A separate court is there for lawn tennis and basketball. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. NIFTEM has a world-class library called NKC (NIFTEM's knowledge centre) which is a 6 -toryed building.
Faculty: In Master's course, a class only has 30-40 students. The mentor is assigned to each and every student in NIFTEM. The lecturers usually teach through slideshows. Some are friendly, while some are not. The students get industry exposure through many seminars and industry visits.
Other: The NIFTEM hosts 2 fests per year. One technical fest which is known as Agastia and one cultural fest which is known as Edsia. Apart from which, NIFTEM has sports week. Almost all festivals are celebrated here. Since NIFTEM is a national institute, students from all over India come here. So, in short, it is mini India, and one can find a very diverse type of crowd. Unfortunately, NIFTEM is like an island which is having nothing near it. There are no happening places near NIFTEM. It is almost 20 km away from Delhi. The nearest mall is TDI Kundli mall which again is very boring.

It highly recommended for students who want to explore something new in the food processing sector.
Placements: Above 70% of the students from our batch have been placed already. The placement cell is working continuously to arrange interviews for students who didn't get placed. Top recruiting companies which visit here for placements are from the food sector like ITC, Patanjali, Daawat, Britannia, Mother Dairy, etc. All the students from our batch got internships in reputed companies and startups in the food sector. Top roles offered in our course are management trainee, food processing manager, quality control manager, etc.
Infrastructure: There is a Wi-Fi facility on the entire campus, and the library has a seating capacity of more than 3,000 students. There are 235 lecture halls, 29 labs and professional indoor and outdoor courts for all sports. The food served in the mess is very good, and they provide both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. There is a dispensary in every hostel, which is open 24x7, and rooms in the hostel are spacious and double sharing.
Faculty: Teachers here are very co-operative and helpful. As it is a government college, all the teachers are highly qualified and best in their field. The course curriculum is very relevant, and our college tries its best to make students industry-ready.
Other: It is the only government college in North India which offers food technology in management. So, I have chosen this college. Our college is situated near the outskirts of Delhi, so there are no connectivity issues at all. About 60% of the crowd is from South India. So, it is a great opportunity for students to interchange their information about the areas where they stay.
