No, NEET is not mandatory for admission to Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) course of Nirma University. Aspirants with a valid score can apply. However, the university accept other exam scores as well, such as GUJCET/GPAT or on a merit-basis. Apart from this, the candidate must meet the course-specific eligibility requirements. The seat allotment for this programme is carried out through ACPC counselling.

For admission to the Nirma University BPharm programme, it is crucial that the students fulfil the prescribed minimum eligibility requirement. Nirma University releases cutoff list for the BPharm programme based on merit and scores in the accepted exam. In 2023, the university last round closing rank for BPharm was 1519 for the General-All India category. The cutoff further varies every year, as it depends upon varies varying factors, such as number of applicants, exam score, seat availability, and more. Candidates who fulfil the cutoff criteria can participate in the counselling for seat allotment.

Nirma University has a total seat count of 100 for the BPharm course. Aspirants are admitted in accordance with the sanctioned seat intake. Moreover, the university allot 85% of the seats through ACPC counselling and the rest 15% are reserved for the NRI sponsored category. STEP 2: Selection Process

Nirma University admission to most of the courses is entrance-based. Candidates are shortlisted based on national or state-level entrance exam like CAT for MBA, JEE Main/ GUJCET for BTech, CMAT for MCA and others. For some courses, admission is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Personal interview is also conducted for BBA, MBA and other courses.

STEP 3: Release of selection list

After the selection rounds are over, the university releases a merit list with the names of the students selected for admission to the respective course.

Nirma University Cutoff 2024 was released for BArch and BTech courses. The cutoff was released throughout a few rounds for different categories under the All India and Home State category candidates. For BTech courses, the lowest required among the General Home State category candidates was 302.
