Q:   Is B.E. / B.Tech at SAL worth the investment?

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is B.E./B.Tech at SAL worth the investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

Pros:

* Good placement record: Most students (around 60-90%) reported getting placed in reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, Byju's, and Wipro, with an average salary package ranging from INR2.5 LPA to INR6 LPA.
* Industry-ready curriculum: The course curriculum is designed to prepare students for the industry, making them employable upon graduation.
* Supportive faculty: Many reviewers praised the faculty members, describing them as helpful, knowledgeable, and experienced.
* Good infrastructure: Although not exceptional, the infrastructure, including classrooms, labs, and campus facilities, is considered satisfactory.
* Extracurricular activities: The college hosts various events, festivals, and sports competitions, providing students with a well-rounded experience.

Cons:

* Limited hostel facilities: Not all students may find accommodations within the campus, requiring external arrangements.
* Slow Wi-Fi speeds: A few reviewers mentioned that the Wi-Fi connectivity in labs could be improved.
* Unhelpful faculty in some cases: A minority of students felt that some faculty members lacked enthusiasm and didn't provide adequate support.

Conclusion:
While B.E/B.Tech at SAL Institute might not offer exceptional infrastructure or state-of-the-art amenities, its strong placement record, industry-ready curriculum, and supportive faculty make it a worthwhile investment for aspiring engineers. However, students should weigh these advantages against potential limitations like limited hostel facilities and slow Wi-Fi speeds.

Note: Individual responses may vary depending on personal preferences, academic backgrounds, and expectations. These findings are based on aggregated reviews and should not be taken as a guarantee of success.

I am very happy with this college.
Placements: Almost 65% of students get placements in our course. In that most of the remaining one preferred the masters in our course. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Zydus, Tata Consultancy Services, Indian Navy, CMS, Hindustan Petroleum, and many more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our course is good, but they can not offer a Wi-Fi facility. They have one of the best laboratories in its region, it provides almost every equipment and machinery, classrooms have central air-conditioner. The library has a good atmosphere to study but the main drawback of our college is that it can not offer students a hostel facility.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in every aspect whether it is the study or other knowledge grooming things. The quality of teaching is average, sometimes courses are left incomplete. The schedule of the exam is fixed, students get our mark sheet after one or two weeks of the exam so it can help students to improve where they lack knowledge and where they should give their high efforts. The semester exam is not that much difficult but they ask some application-based questions. Around 33% of the overall marks are passing grades.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, and the teaching quality is very good.
Placements: More than 80% of students got placed in my course. My batch students ranked in the top 10 all over the Gujarat state. Students are offered packages of more than 30 LPA. Intas, Cadila, etc., companies come to our campus to hire students.
Infrastructure: The college has better and more facilities than the other pharmacy colleges. The college has a library for students to take books only for Rs. 20 per year. The classrooms are very good, and all the classrooms have AC facilities. Wi-Fi is available only for teachers, not for students. The quality of food is very good.
Faculty: In this institute, the teachers are very helpful to all the students. All the teachers are qualified from reputed institutes. I have completed B.Pharma from SAL Institute of Pharmacy. This institute makes students industry-ready.
