NLSAT 2025 Syllabus mentions topics for all subjects asked in Part A and Part B of the question paper. NLSIU Bangalore only shares the subjects for NLSAT, and not the detailed topics of all subjects. However, candidates can find the topics for all subjects of NLSAT 2025 question paper to get an understanding of the exam. NLSAT Exam date is expected to be released in December. Q:   What is the syllabus for NLSAT 2025?

A:

The National Law School of Admission Test (NLSAT) exam 2025 syllabus has current affairs (Part A), Current Affairs (Part B), English Comprehension, Critical Reasoning ( includes logical reasoning and legal aptitude), and Legal Aptitude. 

The main subjects of NLSAT LLB 2025 for both parts of the question paper are as under: 

  1. English Comprehension - 25 marks 
  2. Current Affairs - 25 marks
  3. Critical Reasoning - 25 marks 
  4. Legal Aptitude and Reasoning - 60 marks 
  5. Analytics Ability - 15 marks

Q:   What kind of questions are included in NLSAT 2025?

A:

The NLSAT question paper will include objective-type questions from subjects such as Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning Quantitative Techniques, English and Current Affairs including General Knowledge. The NLSAT paper for the LLM. course will have both objective questions from law subjects such as Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Administrative Law, Law of Contract, Torts, Family Law, etc. Generally, the questions are designed as passage followed by series of questions of one mark each. Candidates will have to attempt the questions by reading and interpreting the passages only.

Q:   Is 'Legal Aptitude' section removed from the NLSAT question paper?

A:

As per the NLSAT exam pattern released by the NLSIU, Legal Reasoning remains a part of the question paper along with Quantitative Techniques, English Current Affairs including General Knowledge and Logical Reasoning. If the exam authority decides to remove any of the sections, then it will inform the candidates in admission notification itself, so that candidates can prepare for the exam accordingly.

Q:   How can I prepare for NLSAT 2025?

A:

Candidates were advised to prepare for NLSAT 2024 by following the simple steps given below:

  • Make a monthly and weekly timetable and keep the syllabus handy
  • Do not leave any topic, make sure you cover all the topics. Do try and finish on time so you have enough time for revision
  • Pratice as many as mock tests possible. Practice the tests frequently and analyze it to recognize your weak and strong areas. This will help you to know which topic requires work.
  • While attempting the question, try not make any assumption. Even on NLSAT2024 Exam day, do not assume, as for every in
  • Do not make assumptions while attempting the questions in actual NLSAT as for every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
