DSNLU, Visakhapatnam journey of 3 year LL.B.

Placements: From the first semester onwards, the students are eligible for campus internships. The college does provide internships and placements, but there is no promising guarantee of getting placed. The placement is average here but it is still improving. Few students qualify for the placement seats. For those who want to pursue judiciary, the college is an amazing option; otherwise, you have to work hard to get a placement.

Comprehensive legal education with excellent infrastructure and vibrant campus life.

Placements: The B.A. LL.B. Programme typically ranges between 60% and 80%, with the remaining students pursuing higher studies, the judiciary, or civil services. The highest package is approximately 12-15 LPA (offered by top-tier law firms). The average package is around 6-8 LPA for corporate law roles. The lowest package is 3-4 LPA, generally for litigation-focused or NGO roles. DSNLU's alumni have secured positions at reputed organizations such as law firms: Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, AZB & Partners, Khai...

The college is quite good at a great location.

Placements: The placement at our college is below average with an average package of 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Hindustan Times, Accenture, Wipro, etc. The highest package offered last year was 10.2 LPA. Last year almost 40% of students got placed while many students went for higher studies.

The faculty is very good and the infrastructure is also very good.

Placements: Most of the people choose law; max 60 percent of people choose law and the highest package is 2,00,000 and the lowest is 50,000. In our college, most of the percentage of people get internships in firms, and the course offered in our college is B.A. LL.B., a 5-year course and a 3-year law and PG course.

All about DSNLU that you need to know .

Placements: Many students get placed by the end of the 5th year. 70%–75% of the students get placements through the university. Many of them get pre-placement offers too. Internships are the backbone for experience and for placements too. Most students are offered the job for the role of junior associate in a firm or law chamber.

Life at Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam.

Placements: The college is in its early stages, so it has a low placement percentage. However, the university is making good efforts to improve it. Currently, the highest package at the university is 12 LPA, while the lowest is around 3-4 LPA. Top companies like Amarchand & Mangaldas are recruiting.

Our college is good, and faculty members are also decent.

Placements: Around 40% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges between 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Law firms are the top recruiting companies. Every student gets internships from internships cell in various firms as advocates in legal organisations.

This college is a legal education hub.

Placements: Since the college is one of the young NLUs, the placements here are not as expected. However, the placement record is reasonable. The college doesn't reveal the official placement record. Internship placement cell is working hard to raise the placement percentage every year. The placement rate is improving every year. All the students who passed out from here were well settled, and I can affirm this without any doubt.

Dissatisfied just because of the faculty.

Placements: At present, the scenario of placements to the students who had completed their degree in our college is not that good. Maybe, it will get better in future. Because at first, our college didn't have much exposure. It got exposure just after the division of Andhra state and when the new government and vice-chancellor came. So, hopefully, it would get better.

It is good and evolving university with proper curriculum and exposure.

Placements: Decent placements are happening from past two years. As I am in the fourth year of my course, the placements of my batch are still awaited. My senior and super senior batches were placed in mid-range offices. Almost 70 to 80 percent of people, who have opted for placements drive, are placed predominantly with Thomson Reuters, Fox Mandal and a few litigation firms from Hyderabad and Bangalore.

Placements: I am still a student of this university. My senior batches were placed decently. 80% of them were placed who opted for placements. Law firms and companies like Thomson and Reuters, Fox and Mandal etc., visited the college. The posts offered are legal associates. There is a committee in the college, RCC, which deals with the placements and internships.

Legal education at its peak, in nature's arms.

Placements: We had had really good placements last year. Some of the students are into LPOs. Some students have dropped for the judiciary and UPSC exams. Quite a good number of people have also joined LLM at various places, a good number being in DSNLU itself. Moreover, we have a great and hard-working recruitment coordination committee which directs and guides the placement etc.

Placements: We have a great scope in the university. It offers a plethora of opportunities for all the students. Last year, our placements had been really good, with almost 100 percent placement. Some of the students chose to do LL.M. Some have dropped out for judicial services, from the last batch which has passed. Some of the students have chosen legal practice, some from the previous batches have made it to various judicial service exams across the nation, and some have also chosen the teaching professio...

Placements: The placement of last year batch was quite good compared to its previous year batch. The college improved in providing the placements. By giving an opportunity to everyone and bringing new firms to the college. We have three round placement policy for this year. The recruitment coordination committee is planning to bring more firms for the placement of 2018 batch.

Placements: We got our university campus building 6 months ago and more than 30 students got placed out of 70 students. We even had international companies like Thomson Reuters. By the end of this academic year, we are excepting an increase in the percentage of placements.

Placements: The first batch was not that lucky enough to get placed because at that time campus was not there, but in the batch of 2012- 2017, 50% students got placed. The average salary is 15k per month. Companies like Mindcrest, Capgemini, etc. visited for campus selection. Though maximum of the placement this year was from LPO and our college is a national law university, so based on that, we get good internship opportunities like to work as an intern with Khaitan, Singhania and Partners, etc. ...

It is a nice college with good faculty. Good surroundings for studying. Even though it is not a vast campus we can enjoy a lot. Lack of hostel is a huge drawback. This university helps in improving students’ communication skills, and in reducing stage fear by conducting debates, group discussions etc.
