It's just okay. I can say I'll give 4/10. Not satisfied as my seniors are not well placed.

Placements: Placement for CSE branch good 2-3 years back with the highest package as 7 lac per annum. My senior batch is yet not placed. Some students who were placed in the field of digital marketing came back from the company. 3-4 students are only placed may be at an average package of 2.5 PA. But for our batch, 80% of the student got internship which will be from June to July. The placement cell has been modified resulting in bringing more number of companies.

OPJU Engineering Mechanical Branch Review.

Placements: I got placed in JSW steel limited, Bellary, Karnataka. Overall the placements are average. For seniors placements were better with an average of 50%. For 2013 batch the placements were 40-50%. The placements of core branches like metallurgy, mechanical, EEE & civil are better than CSE.

Regret to take admission in this college.

Placements: 14 if our seniors are placed in JSW but none from our batch is placed. Placement is very poor in our college. 2 students of our batch are placed in JSPL but salary is only 240000 per annum. Total strength of our class is 75 and 73 of them are unemployed. They only show placement on papers but they don't have guts to invite their own Jindal Group for campus placement.

College is pretty good to have our enlighten future and works according to curriculum.

Placements: Placements are approximately good towards our senior we have a good chance to achieve placement. Many of them have achieved good package including good results in GATE and other master fields. Placement companies arrive frequently to interact with students.

Opju is one of the finest colleges of our country. Feel proud to be a part of Jindal family.

Placements: The biggest recruiter here at Opju is JINDAL family. Naming few of them are JSW, JPL, JSPL etc. Placement cell works efficiently in order to bring famous companies for recruitment. The average package is about nearly 4 Lacs per annum, but it may fluctuate as per the wisdom and knowledge of the student.

Overall, the institution is not up to the mark and have no point in having the admission.

Placements: The placement is not good in this college. The maximum package offered in front of me is just of 4.5-5 lacs/annum. The companies which have up till now visited us are JSW, Bhushan, Earth Infrastructures, National Institute of Banking and Finance. Approximately, the average package is of 2.5-4 lacs/annum.

Overall, satisfied with the college.

Placements: The percentage of placement is very good, but the companies coming for placement do not offer high package. The package of Rs. 20,000 per month to Rs. 30,000 per month is offered. And the job is only for a limited period of 4 to 5 years. But, the best part of this university is that students get chance to get placed in Jindal Steel Power Ltd. And, more than 28 companies come for placement every year. This college has placement success rate of 79%, which is at the second position in Chhattisgarh.

The worst university on earth, OPJU.

Placements: The worst university in the world. There are no placements, and they are making the people fool by showing the placements on their website. Be careful parents. This is a genuine review, believe me, or you will remain the day after graduation. It is the matter of your whole life. The faculty members are not capable of even teaching the basic engineering subject, and they are giving a degree of M.Tech.

Satisfied with the excellent faculty members and labs, but dissatisfied in the case of placement.

Placements: Approximately, 30 students got placed to date. Jindal Steel and Power Limited, Bhushan Steel, Mobilio, Volvo, etc., visited our college to hire the students. The career service office helps the students to get placed.

OPJU is a very good college for the overall development of a student of bachelor's degree.

Placements: The placements are good. An average of 60-70% students get selected. The average salary package is around 3 to 4 lacs per annum. The company which visits the campus are like JSPL, Raigarh (Jindal Steel and Power), JPL, Tamnar (Jindal Power Limited), Bhusan Power Limited, Jhasuguda, TCS, JSW, etc. There is also a placement cell which manages the training and placement of the students.

The OP Jindal University, Raigarh.

Placements: As far as the placements are concerned, you may not get a great package from here, but at the end of your 4 years, you will have a job, and that is for sure. Companies like JSPL and other branch companies of Jindal industries are the main recruiters. The maximum package offered here, until now, is 11 Lacs per annum. However, you can expect more in the coming years. You will be experiencing a great campus life in your 4 years of engineering.

The college has a great faculty , great infrastructure and is a good place to study in.

Placements: The placements here are good for a private college as JSPL is the company which is always going to visit the campus, the Jain software has come this year too. The highest package that I have heard was that of 10 lakhs per annum, but I am not too much sure for this. These are the companies that have come here for the placements - the Jindal steel works, ERA, ICICI Bank, Infosys, IBM, Tata, Bhushan, MUST, KPIT, Accenture, WIPRO, etc. I have seen the seniors getting a Rs. 3.6 lakhs per annum job a...

Placements: It was good. More than 50% of the students got placed. The highest package was Rs. 7,00,000 per annum and the lowest package was Rs. 2,00,000 per annum. The companies were JSPL, JSW, HCL and JAIN SOFTWARE etc. The roles offered to the students are from the administration, programmer, and software maker. No idea about the internship provided to my seniors, but two of my classmates got selected for the internship in CSE branch.

Placements: From the placement point of view, the college is little lacking but infrastructure is good. They call fewer companies but all of them are the best companies in their fields. The placement rate is getting higher as compared to rest of the colleges in Chhattisgarh. Its place is just in the top 3 colleges in Chhattisgarh.

Placements: The placements are quite good in our college. The major recruiters for OPJU are JSPL, JSW, JPL, Bhushan Steel Plant, PSL, etc. for the core branches, especially for mechanical, metallurgy, and EEE. Apart from this, for non-core jobs, many companies visit for recruitment.

Placements: The placement of the college is not that much best but at least it can be rated as more than average because every year, 70-80% of the students got placed in good companies with good salaries. The companies visit in our college for placement offers generally from 7.2 LPA to 2.8 LPA. Many of the companies visit here and select the capable students. In fact, each and every year the placement percentage is increasing and a large number of students is getting placed with a good salary. In fact, off-...
