Really good place to study.

Placements: I am pursuing MBA 2nd semester, so I have not yet completed my MBA and this is our first batch. We are the ones who will get placed first. Right now, 6 of my batchmates are selected for an internship in Amazon, Pune. 2 got selected for Global Talent, Pune. 2 for Tauraurs, Mumbai, 3 for Tata Refractories and 5 for JSPL Raigarh. 2 got selected for JPL Tamnaar and 2 for Kotak Mahindra Mumbai. This is we all got from college. The highest stipend was 10000.

OPJU: to new standards in higher education.

Placements: Placement didn't go well for our batch of OPJIT 2012-16. Now the college has become a university and is transforming to higher standards. University has links to many companies and MNCs and not to forget, it's JSPL and JSW. All I can say is you can take admission here when you don't have any better option.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college placements and fees structure.

Placements: 1. JSW Stainless Steel Limited, Mumbai. 2. Bhushan Steel And Power Limited, Orissa. 3. Jindal Power Limited, Raigarh. 4. BPO companies. The listed companies visited in 2017 for final year batch. Highest salary 3 lakh per annum. Minimum salary 1 lakh per annum. No internship offered. Previous year placement was not good and less than 5 were placed. This year, out of 60 students, only 20 are placed till today. The campus placement this year is 14 out ...

I would recommend to take admission only on the scholarship basis.

Placements: Just forget about placement in civil engineering branch, not a single company came for civil engineering branch so students have to find a job on their own. Talking about other branches, students may get placed in average reputed companies with an average package of about 2 to 4 lacs.

Satisfied because of the good infrastructure, the faculty and the placements.

Placements: The placement of our university is not that much best but I at least I can rate it as more than average because every year, 70-80% of the students get placed in good industries with good salary packages. The companies which come in our college for placement offers generally from 7.2 LPA to 2.8 LPA. Many of the companies visit here and select the capable students. In fact, each and every year the placement percentage is increasing and a large number of students is getting placed with good salary....

Really good infrastructure and other facilities.

Placements: It is a new university, so can't say much about its placement. But yes, for the OPJIT (the 3rd and the 4th year still under the state university), batches are getting placed at an average package, which is a good thing. The placement cell is very helpful and trying its level best for getting companies here. The placement is much better than the other colleges here in Chhattisgarh.

Despite having good infrastructure and a big conglomerate, the college fails to stand out.

Placements: The placement isn't great despite being an industry owned college. If you belong to the top creamy layer in your class then you have a pretty fair chance to get placed, but if you are a mediocre or slightly above average, it would kill your chances for placement in this college. 15-20 out of 60 students will only get placed so the percentage is fairly low. Jindal, Bhushan, and nearby small-sized steel manufacturing firms in the vicinity of the college are the major recruiters. For computer scien...

Disappointed from this college because of the location, faculty members and food quality.

Placements: Placement of this college was not satisfactory as none of the company of Jindal comes here for placement. The highest salary was around 900k and placement was around 60-70% for CS and EEE students. The least placement was from core branches like mechanical, metallurgy and civil engineering. Some famous companies have come for placement were Eicher, Volvo, HCL, etc.

Jindal Global University (JGU) comprises of five interdisciplinary schools.

Placements: The placements in this college are great. The CD-PD department gave us good internship during summer. Salaries are offered with 50k per month and more. Seniors have got excellent placements in companies like Axis bank, People Strong, yes bank and much more. They are very satisfied with their job. Whoever interned during summer may get a stipend or may not. It depends on the firm they have interned in.

Placements: Placements for the senior batch were good. 30-40% of the students were placed. Salary offered was between 1.2 LPA to 7 LPA. Companies visited the campus were cognizant, etc. Kind of roles offered to the students was of sales manager and software developer. The college does not provide internship facilities to the students.

Placements: Students got placed in companies like TCS, Wipro, and Accenture but all in off-campus placements in the computer science department. On-campus placements for the CS department were for low package jobs. The career development office was not working as it should for bringing companies for placements on-campus.

OPJU is an excellent college with excellent infrastructure.

Placements: To get placements in our college, students should have minimum percentage criteria of 60% throughout the semester and in 10 and 12 standard also. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like JSW, JSPL, Monnet, Jayaswal Neco and other steel companies visit our college for placements.
