The college has average infrastructure and placements.
Placements: There is a placement cell in our college, but the companies that visit the campus for placements were mainly for sales, marketing or BPO. In off-campus placements, we got an opportunity to attend the interview process for a technical profile, but hardly anyone got selected. The highest CTC that was offered to placed students on the campus was 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure on the campus is not up to the mark as ACs are not working. Only the library is good in this college. The washrooms were not cleaned on a daily basis. They provide drinking water to students, but it tastes sour. There is a Wi-Fi facility in the college premises, but I never found it working. The labs are good. The quality of the food in the canteen is good.
Faculty: I have a mixed review about teaching faculty. Some professors were good at their subjects, and their teaching methods were good. They were helpful, but at the same time, some teachers were there only for timepass, and they did not have any desire to teach. They practised favouritism, and if anyone tried to take any stand against them, they used to cut their marks in internal exams. We didn't get any industry exposure despite asking for it several times.
Other: From the last two years, a fest is taking place in our college. This year, they invited Himesh Reshammiya as a celebrity guest to campus. The fest organised on the campus was good. The campus crowd is good as 60% are from Delhi, and the rest 40% of them are from Haryana and other states.

An average college, extensive campus, terrible cafeteria, massive cricket ground.
Placements: The student placements are very cumbersome in a college like PDM especially for students in the electronics trade, because most companies are looking for people in the IT sector. Also, such colleges take students for campus hiring fairs, which make it even tougher for students to get through as the competition is now even higher, as you get students of other colleges competing with you as well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The classrooms are pretty basic, but the lab equipment, especially the computer labs are state of the art. The canteen serves edible food, but the food lacks taste and quality, and can only be qualified as edible. However, the opening of 3rd party joints like Giani's, CCD and 34 Chowranghee inside the campus, make life a little easy.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is dedicated and helpful as the course curriculum completed on time. However, there were no industry visits in my time, but the faculty guides and helps the students with their projects, and understands and encourages the creativity of the students. The teachers are qualified, and the student to teacher ratio is okay in the college.

Satisfied with the faculty, improved placements in 2016 and it has the infrastructure.
Placements: To be very honest, the placements are not up to the mark. Various companies do visit, but they don't hire as per our expectations. But with each batch, placement scenario is improving. For our batch, many companies visited like Scope Telecom, CMS IT services, E2E Telecom and many more.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is equipped with Wi-Fi labs, complete Wi-Fi zone. The library is well-equipped with complete course subject books and reference books. Regular tournaments are held for various games including Cricket, Volleyball, basketball, Football, Athletics etc. & also cultural fests are a treat to experience. The cafeteria provides hygienic food of all sorts. As per my experience, I never faced any infrastructure related issue during my tenure at the college.
Faculty: The faculty is very qualified and experienced. The way they handle individual queries is commendable. Modern teaching method is implemented, and practical methods make understanding simpler & also get an exposure to the industry. As per my experience, the faculty was very supportive throughout & all our issues & queries were solved.
Other: The cultural fests are organised on a regular basis. Apart from this, technical events are there in which various other colleges take part. Fresher parties are organised. The most important thing is ragging is not allowed at all in my tenure, I never faced such issue & also never came to know about any such happening. The atmosphere on the campus is very fun.

Dissatisfied because of faculty and placements.
Placements: There were no campus placements from the college for my batch as well as the seniors' batch. Small-scale industries set up in Bahadurgarh came up for placements. Students took off-campus placements on their own with the lowest package of 2 lpa and the highest of 3.5 lpa. As for internships, there was no stipend offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi never worked due to network issues in the college. The classrooms were air-conditioned. Medical facilities were there only in PDM Dental Hospital. The canteens have improved a lot. The hostels are sparsely populated. The college has good transportation facilities for any part of Delhi - NCR.
Faculty: The faculty was helpful though not much qualified. The teaching methods included equal classroom teachings as well as practical sessions. The student-faculty ratio was 7:3. Good industry exposure due to IEEE association. The course curriculum was outdated though. Multiple workshops, seminars, and co-curricular activities happened from time to time.

PDM University with 0% placement record.
Placements: No placements. In fact, not even a single company came for placement for 2013-2014 batch. No efforts from the management in this regard. Many times, we asked the so-called management & TPO for placement, but all went in vain. Whenever we went to the management, they asked us for a list of companies that belonged to our stream, as if they didn't know them. Even then, not even a single company came for placement & not even a single student was placed from the batch.
Infrastructure: Third-class infrastructure at that time. Except the library, all other classrooms & labs were third-class. Even govt. colleges have better labs than those. Cafeteria food, as well as the cafeteria itself, were poor. You couldn't sit & eat food there during the summers as it was too hot inside the cafeteria. ACs were there in the cafeteria but they were just for the name sake, as they didn't work. The library was good because it was created at that time only. I don't know the current scenario. But books in the library were the oldest ones & they charged 6000 rupees for the library & those books with yellow, torn pages.
Faculty: Except 2-3 lecturers, all other were just doing time pass. They just came & read whatever was written in the books & left. They always threatened about the internal marks if you asked some question. They said that the question was out of books, and you might get less internal marks than others. Lab lecturers were just for name sake as machines did not work & no one told us about the practicals.
Other: Only one fest happened during my tenure (2010-2014) that too with very less budget. The students didn't even get proper seats to sit. No focus on extracurricular or sports activities, as the management just wanted to save money. I would rather say don't take admission in PDM if you have some aspirations after doing engineering. The only thing good is that the crowd is mostly from Delhi/NCR.
