College is good but it's strict. Anyhow you have to go to college to maintain its attendance criteria. You simply can't bunk the college if you do so then you have to suffer. And one important thing is that you have to maintain an average for your internals if not then it would be difficult for you to get extra mark from faculties whether it is even one mark.

It was a great learning with some great faculty members and students. There are tremendous opportunities for hands-on experience and lab research as well. The campus is lively and has plenty of scope for co-curricular activities as well. There are many student communities for the students depending on various genres. There is a huge library for peaceful and productive learning. Even for biotech, there are good placements and internship opportunities.

PESIT has a lot to offer for C.S and I.S students faculty wise and placement wise. But you will have to struggle hard if you are from some other branch as a number of companies coming for other branches are minimum. Still, E.C and T.C.E had some decent number of placements if you compare with other core branches i.e. mechanical and electrical. College life is quite good and you will have all the opportunities to join sports, dance competition or any other extra-curricular activities. Faculty-wis...

Almost everything about the college is good. It has a good crowd and offers awesome placements in companies like Microsoft, Amazon, etc. almost all big names. Half of the teaching staff is also good but the campus life is not good. Rules are very strict from attendance to dress code and the internal exams are strict as well.

It is one of the best colleges in Bangalore if you are looking forward to studying software engineering. Although the other branches are also good, the CS and IT branches promise amazing opportunities and jobs. Numerous IT companies such as Citrix Solutions, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, and a lot of startups such as Myntra, Grofers have picked up students from the campus with a magnificent base pay. To be honest, there is no future for the other branches in Bangalore. As far as academics are con...

PES Institute of Technology South Campus is the sister College of PES University (formerly, PESIT, Banashankari). This branch of the institute was started in the early 2000s and has been on the constant rise ever since. Currently, it is one of the best colleges to pursue your Engineering degree under VTU. Being a CSE student, I would recommend the CSE branch for its brand name and immense placement opportunities. The college crowd is typical bookworm type who will place a lot of attention on get...

PES has got a very good faculty with rich industrial experience. Life at campus is great and students aspiring to pursue their MBA from this college can definitely go ahead without thinking twice. Pros- Good infrastructure, good faculty, good hostel facilities and decent placement records. Cons- Not much importance given for extra circular activities. Very less fest and other events participation.

The college was best in terms of infrastructure and facilities. I passed out ten years back and that time, construction was going on in the new adjacent land area which looked very promising. Management was strict and more concerned about rules and regulations. Teachers were very nice and friendly. The negative side was the hostel. They were very strict towards hostel students with lots of rules imposed on us. But the first year is worth spending in the hostel to know students and friends. Af...

The college provides good infrastructure, experienced faculty and good placements. No matter how you are, you are guaranteed a job at the end. The education provided is way above standard. There are some good workshops conducted here, which also provide the students with good learning opportunities.

The college has very strict rules and regulations, however, it is a good college for placement and education. There are only four branches - computer science, information science, mechanical, electronics and communication. The college infrastructure is very good, and the hostel rent is high with fewer facilities. The college is located outside the city. More than 70 companies visit the campus for placements.

The Computer Science department in our college is simply great. The amount of exposure you get here far eclipses any other college in Karnataka. Using things like electives, special topics, they keep the syllabus up to date, often times exploring things that are at the helm/cusp of CS, things that are brand new. Definitely an extremely competitive environment, and if you are able to persevere, you will shine through.

The college campus is wonderful. Classrooms, auditorium, labs, and research rooms are all available with wonderful facilities. The faculty is good at teaching. The college environment is nice, with good ambiance. The courses are good and are recognised by Bangalore University. The course fee is little higher as compared to a few more colleges. People from different cities and different states come here for their graduation and get placed in nice jobs.

Placements: Almost 80% of the students in my course were placed though most of them acquired jobs through internships mostly which the university helps you with throughout your course. The highest placement acquired was 15 Lacs and 5 Lacs being the lowest placement.

Overall good college for those who want a good campus life and thrive to work hard.

Placements: Placement is okayish kind of, but I feel it's below average for the BBA department. I am not sure of other departments. The average package that is offered is 3,20,000, starting from 2-3 Lacs to 6-7 Lacs, with very few companies offering placements. Some good companies include TCS, Accenture, and Amazon. Students are provided internships from the 1st year during summer holidays. Above 90% of students get internships from different companies.
