A nightmare it is, to get into EC here.

Placements: 5/300 will get core jobs and 60-65% of the rest, who are eligible for placements(with minimum 60% and no backlogs) will get placed in tier-3 companies with a package of 3.5LPA. Most of the students offer work related to MS-Office and Excel sheets. 100+ companies like Accenture, Cognizant and Wipro visit the college but every time, students have to go to the other campus to attend placements. No internships are offered to south-campus students.

Disappointing to see PESIT in this state. Must stop this money making objective. Want old PESIT back

Placements: Placements are good at PES University but the bitter fact is that they combine both the main campus and south Campus students and that's totally unfair. Placements for our batch was okay and for our senior batch too. 100 percent students get offers from some or the other company in CS and IS branches. Highest salary was 24 LPA from Microsoft for 2 students, and 22 LPA for 2 students at CouchBase Inc. Lowest salary: 3.5 LPA from Accenture and many services based companies like L&T and the like...

Describe your college to someone who has never heard of it. You know your college best and know what's important - faculty, placement, infrastructure. Talk about the good, the bad and the missing. You could also write about what's interesting - eating joints, the student crowd, college fests. And anything else that you think prospective students need to know.

The college will make you feel like you are in a school, with its discipline and small campus. Teaching standard is average, syllabus and course content is good. The college has a brand value, especially in Karnataka. Placements of CS and IS branches are excellent. If you take a core branch you will face difficulties getting placed in core companies. College campus is insufficient to handle the number of students which results in crowded places.

College staff is so Co-operative and also very nice climate in middle the city with accurate teaching with personal guidance but only one problem is like no parking and big problem of dress code in campus. Always some issue on the uniform by the management.

The college is good, many opportunities are provided for undertaking projects. Placements for mechanical are less as compared to other departments. The faculty is experienced and helpful. There are not much facilities and the college fest is not encouraged much like other colleges. The girls’ hostel is very far from college so it is quite hard for girls staying at hostel to manage. The library is amazing.

It was a recognised university in 2013. The infrastructure is quite good for a graduate college but for a University, it lacks a bit. It’s preferable for engineering but think twice before applying for MBA as the placements are not up to the standards. MBA course will be just as good as any other college with the only difference in few labs. I personally would not prefer this college as I feel it’s not worth rupees 7.2 lakhs.

Popularly known as one of the best colleges in Karnataka, the college is going through a transformation and has become a university. There is a separate entrance test other than CET. The only disadvantage is the limited space of the college which limits the sports activities. Even though we have a cricket ground, we are not allowed to use it most of the times. If you are interested in research or want to do your Masters in the US, there is no other college better than PES University in Bangal...

One of the best marketing stream faculty. Office section people aren't supportive. Infrastructure of PESIT is good. Although the campus is not that big, it is self-sufficient and pretty. Labs are well-equipped and well-maintained too. Library is also very nice and has abundance of books. Campus is Wi-Fi enabled but it’s not reliable. There is a greenish cricket ground but it is used more often for private tournaments. There is also a nice basketball court.

Huge campus with great atmosphere. Very good and energetic crowd. The facilities inside the campus like few shops, cafeteria is big time great places to chill out. The college is pretty well known for its engineering. But when it comes to MBA, we should have the second thought whether it’s worth paying for.

A good campus with great atmosphere. The facilities inside the campus are good like few shops where we can chill out. The college is pretty famous for its Engineering section. But when it comes to MBA, we would doubt that whether its worth paying for it.

A good college as per the fee but not the best one in terms of teaching and placements.

Placements: Placements after B.Pharma are very less, and the packages offered are not much. The highest packages after B.Pharma are 3-4 lakhs per annum. The companies which come are also decreasing every year. The job roles are also quite different from the course we studied, and we have to take a separate training for it.

No proper faculty and no good placements.

Placements: Only 60% of placements are happening. 6 LPA is the highest package and 3 lpa is the lowest package offered. No top recruiting companies visit for our course. The management says fake words about the placements in the beginning. Only 60% students get internship from our college.

Teaching is not satisfactory. Students are finding it inconvenient.

Placements: Not a lot of students take the mechanical course. The strength is getting lower by the year. Companies like Kirloskar recruit students from our campus. Top roles are for the level of operators. Most of them don't get placements.

If you want to pursue MCA, don't choose PES. I'm absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty members.

Placements: Most of the students qualified in the aptitude test but did not get selected because it is an MCA course. Companies select BE students even though you perform well. For internships, only companies like Meltwater, Bosch and Nokia will visit here and select 10-12 students overall. The disappointing thing about internships is that the department won't encourage you if you want to do an internship through off-campus. They will deduct your marks in presentations or projects. Instead of it, they expec...
