Best college ever. Best placements.

Placements: Excellent placements, 100% placements. Many companies visit our campus, and around 70% people have got package more than 8 lakh per annum. The highest package is 30lakh. Even Microsoft visited and recruited 6 students. Finally, the placements are best in our college for CSE.

The best college for computer science branch.

Placements: We have good placements for all branches. For civil, we have placements of about 21 last year, and for other branches like computer science and electronics, we have good placements. But, we have to score the CGPA of 8. Those who grant placements, they got a good salary of about 2 Lacs and more in the well-named companies.

A decent college and worth the money.

Placements: The placements are pretty good, and it is almost 90%-95% you clear all your subjects with decent marks, be confident, and converse well. The highest, the lowest salary depends on the company and the candidate. But overall the opportunities here are pretty good with hard work, and you can achieve your dreams here.

Good placements for CS branch.

Placements: The placement for my batch is average till now. Almost everyone has been placed, but in my branch (ECE), no one has got tier-1 (8 LPA and above) job yet. The average package for my branch would be 5 LPA. In CS department, the highest placement is of 20-24 LPA in Microsoft. The placements in CS department are really good here. The companies like Microsoft, Microchip, Samsung, Oracle, Deloitte, Robert Bosch, HP, Aricent, Cognizant, etc. visit our campus every year. We have a placement cell and it ...

Placements and infrastructure are quite good. But, you would feel more like a school of engineering.

Placements: Our seniors are mostly done with the placements. The highest salary was bagged by one student, with Rs. 22 LPA of job in Microsoft. Since the placements are conducted with PES University, so PESIT B.Sc. students get an opportunity to sit in all the companies that come there. For CSE and ISE the placement is very good with Rs. 6 LPA as an average salary. For ECE and the mech, it's not great.

Good college, good placements, but very strict in rules.

Placements: The placements are good for other branches like CS and EC. For mechanical students, the placements are very poor. One student from our college was placed at Mercedes Benz for an annual salary of 25 lacs per annum. One student from CSE department was placed on Google at the 27 lacs per annum package, but mechanical placements are not good because there are very less. Don't join if you want mechanical placements. Around 70% of the students got the internship. The lowest salary offered was 1.2 lacs...

Good college for placements. It's strict. Good faculty and there are many events.

Placements: There are 3 types of placements, that is, in tier 1, the package was 8 lacs per annum and above package. In tier 2, they offered between 4 to 8 lacs per annum. In tier 3, they offered was below 4 lacs per annum. There are many top companies for the placements who visited the campus are like SAP Labs, Oracle, Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, etc. The internship is difficult to find as it comes under VTU and there is no chance to do an internship.

Pros and cons of the PES University.

Placements: The placements for the CSC department is excellent with nearly 100% of the students getting placed. There is a placement centre on the campus, where the students guided from time to time basis. The innovation rewarded heavily, and new steps like PESU I/O module are being introduced from year one to increase the placement. Most of the CSC students go to US universities or PES professors for the internships. The salary offered for the B.Tech completed students in the PES University of CSC departme...

The college had good placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: At PESIT, you will get more than 60 companies and all the companies that visit will offer you not less than 3 LPA, and if you have at least 60%, you will get placed in at least one company. South campus students have goto main campus in Banashankari for placements.

Engineering in PESIT south campus.

Placements: The placements are good for all the batches. Around 80 percent of the crowd get placed easily. The highest salary offered was 24 LPA, the lowest was being 3 LPA, and the average was 4.5 LPA. All IT companies such as Accenture, Deloitte, Cognizant, Microsoft, Wipro etc., visit this campus. They offered developer and associate roles. It is hard to get the internship as it is compulsory to attend the college 3 days in a week in the last semester. However, you can go for internships in the weekend...

The college is good with the facilities, placement, and they provide a good education at less price.

Placements: The placements in this college are like eating a piece of cake. We get the jobs that we want to go and make our life luxurious, and we can go into jobs easily, and there will be good incentives for us. The placements I'd equal to PES University and no other word for that.

PES has all the academics, placements, and entertainment.

Placements: The placements for 2018 are still in progress. Until now, more than 140 companies have visited our campus. In PES, the companies are categorized into Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 based on the compensation. Tier-1 is 8 LPA, and above, Tier-2 is in between 4 LPA and 8 LPA, and finally, Tier-3 is up to 4 LPA. A few companies in Tier 1 are Citrix, Intuit, VMWare, Microsoft, DE Shaw, InMobi, Nutanix, Treebo Hotels, RazorPay, Rambus chip, Tektronix, Adobe, Ola. About 30-40 companies come under Tier 1 cat...

It is the college for placements, and there is no fun.

Placements: Placements are combined for PESIT south campus, west campus and the main campus. All the three campuses compete for one company. So, one can expect a lot of competition. But around 150 odd companies visit nearly every year, making the placements percent to 90% and above. Being in the fourth year, 90 companies already visited our campus. Big shots like Microsoft, Ola, Amazon, Akamai etc. also visited the campus. The average salary package for CSE/ISE is between 5 LPA to 6 LPA, with the highest be...

PES: a college that is just for the placements.

Placements: The placements have been good so far. Most of the well known MNCs like Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, etc., visited the campus. This year, two students got placed with a package of Rs. 52 LPA in Microsoft. CSE placements have been good so far with 145 students from CSE getting placed in tier-1 colleges out of 300. ECE placements were okay. Around 28 students got placed in tier-1 colleges and around 75 in tier-2 out of 200. The highest placement package offered was Rs. 32 LPA for ECE students....

To PESU or not to PESU, the pros and cons of PES University

Placements: The placements are fine as a lot of companies come, but the college has wrongly advertised it, they claim more than 30% students get 12LPA package and above, it's all fake. Most of the companies have 3-6 LPA packages. The senior batch had better placements than ours, if you take into consideration the number of students, the number of them placed is a lot. The placements are almost guaranteed. The college offers internships in the form of research in R&D and CORI departments. There is a placemen...

A review on PES Institute of Technology, Bangalore South Campus.

Placements: The placement training is held for the final year students before they attend the placement. The placements are good enough only for computer science students. Other branches have very fewer placements comparing to computer science. But, we need to travel to PES university to attend the placements.

The college is developing as a university.

Placements: The overall placement is good. Most of the recruiting firms are IT based. Some of the major recruiters are Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Oracle, etc. Most of the students get placed. Accenture and Capgemini are some of the mass recruiters. The highest package offered was 27 LPA.

It's a good institute to create your identity and get knowledge in a right way.

Placements: The cut-off for the placement is 60%. Good companies are arriving to get their employees with good skills, and students got placed for a number of jobs. We are happy with it, and hoping my placement too would be the same. For EC, no core companies are arriving, so the institution should request the companies to visit for placement.

Very convincing for being an alumni of PES as we had all the opportunities.

Placements: The placements were very good. A tremendous number of companies came to hire. It provides very good opportunities for all the students. Different types of companies are used to come providing the various tiers of packages. The packages offered are varying from Rs. 3 LPA to Rs. 25 LPA. There were almost 90% students who were placed in one company or the other which shows that PESIT provides very good placement opportunities.

Best college to do engineering.

Placements: Placements are very good. This is one of the best colleges to study B.Tech. Placements are about 100% for CSE students, and 80% for E&C branch. The highest package was 24 LPA and the average package offered was 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Every year, many students do internships in many companies, and also some of them go abroad to do internships.
