Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements for our batch were pretty good. 75% of students were placed. The highest salary offered is 720000 and average came up to 400000. The kinds of roles were offered are sales manager, customer relationship manager, business analyst, tax analyst, marketing head etc.

Satisfied with the college. It's known for its placements. Hostel facility is too good.

Placements: Studying in PES increases your chance of getting placed as compared to other colleges of Karnataka. Moreover, students with good coding skills and working in projects could lead you to very profitable placements. Depending on your CGPA and projects, I have seen people getting placed between 4 - 24 LPA jobs. Basically, it provides you with a platform. It depends on you. More than 90% students get placed every year.

Good placement in 2016 but the college life is too damn boring.

Placements: The advantage with placements is that both PES University and this college have merged placements. This gives an opportunity for students to try for really good companies. With regard to out batch, 95% have been placed and others have opted for higher studies. With respect to my batch, the highest salary offered was 16LPA, lowest 3.2 LPA, the average being 5.5 LPA. Some companies that visited are Morgen Stanley, Directi, ZScaler, ZopNow, Cisco, PwC etc. Around 125 companies have come till now. ...

PES (Placement Education Society).

Placements: The placements every year have been great for us. Except the diploma students, almost all the students have been placed. In the EEE dept, the highest CTC offered has been 15 lakhs, lowest around 3.38 lakhs and average around 4.5 lakhs. Companies such as Deloitte Consulting, KPMG, EY, PwC, Bosch, Qualcomm (over 100 companies) has already visited the campus. Roles such as Business Associate, Network Engineer, Analyst, Software Developer etc has been offered. In the CS dept, almost everyone got an...

PES University : Can potentially be great.

Placements: The lowest salary must be in the range of 3-5L per annum. The highest I heard was near 14L per annum. I think almost everyone got placed in some company, the remaining decided on higher studies. From what I heard, most companies don't tell the job description during the interview. So most could be QA/testing but some companies like Walmart Labs give other work as well. The number of students who got internships is extremely low and that's mainly for the 2-month summer internship. The 6-month int...

College review - Overall, very good.

Placements: The placements are really good. IT students get 100% placed but they need to work hard for a core job. The placement rate is almost 100%. The highest and lowest salary offered is 14 lakhs p.a. and 2.98 lakhs p.a. respectively. Core companies like Qualcomm, Bosch, Wipro Turbo(completely different from the usual Wipro), Ericsson and many more visit for placement. IT companies like Accenture, Mediatek Cognizant, Atos etc. also come for recruitment.

PES University - mechanical engineering is the best.

Placements: Mechanical placements usually everywhere is low when compared to other branches. Last year, ALSTOM offered the highest package of about 6 LPA. The visiting companies includes Robert Bosch, TVS Motors, Toyota, Kirloskar auto parts, Saint Gobain, Hero Moto Corp and few others. Also, as PES brand has value, the companies relating banking, IT and data analytics also recruits from mechanical engineering department.

The college has good classrooms with projectors. The labs are well equipped with the requirements of all branches of engineering. The college also has a gym with carom board, table tennis board etc. It also has a big ground for outdoor games. It has one of the best hostels in Karnataka. Every year, fests, tournaments etc. happen in college where all branches compete with each other and have fun, apart from the studies. The best reason to join this college is the placements. Infrastructure: The labs for mechanical engineering are well equipped but few are outdated. Very good facilities if you are interested in getting into research (Surface engineering, metal forming etc.). It’s not a big campus. So, there is only one cricket ground and a 5-5 football ground. Usually, students play in students lounge. Classrooms are good and hostels are very good too. Boy’s hostel has three mess system: 1. Hostel Mess (South Indian Mess): Non-veg food for dinner every Wednesday an...

The college has a good infrastructure and provides good placements for CS. Few core companies come for mechanical engineering like Bosch, Trelleborg, GM etc. The fees of the hostel is very high whereas the quality of the food is average. The faculty of mechanical branch is not experienced but are fine when it comes to teaching. The college has a good library though.

PES University is one of the top engineering colleges in Karnataka. The campus is very good and every facility is provided. One thing is that the college does not encourage sports much but study related areas are highly encouraged. It has a lot of rules and regulations, and it’s for our own good. Even the hostel has a lot of restrictions, there is no Wi-Fi. Placements are pretty well. Computer science department placements are the best and they get the best packages. Other branches are average...

The college is good when it comes to the academic front but not as supportive to students for extracurricular activities. The faculty is good and covers most of the syllabus for the semester. We were not allowed to select our own interest to do the final semester project but were asked to select from a list decided by the lecturers. Placements are pretty good but you have to be patient as the number of core companies coming for placement are relatively less when compared to other branches.

PES is a big brand name in Karnataka. This college has various campuses but I am talking about the Banashankari campus which is the main campus. It has a very good faculty, who are very helpful at any point in time but I must say most of them are not from an industrial background. We have classes regularly here and attendance is said as 85% mandatory. We have many extra-curricular activities like a fest at a huge level where we call famous singers from the industry. Also, we have different s...

The college has excellent Infrastructure and is worth the money spent for those applying through CET. Laboratories are well equipped except for Machine Tools Lab. The college has an annual fest “Atmatrisha”, which gives a chance to students to showcase their talent. The college offers good facilities for those interested in sports. The badminton court is not often available for practice unless it is for a tournament. The placements in the past few years have been good. The salary package off...

PESIT South is a sister college to PESIT main, Bangalore. It was started around 10 years back and while it is not as good as PESIT main, it is slowly catching up. Infrastructure is great and is constantly being improved. Computers in the laboratories are well maintained and the library has a good collection of books. However it lacks in certain areas, computers at the library are average, internet is slow and canteen is average. As for the quality of the education provided, I can only give feedb...

A very good college with a lot of focus on the growth and development of the students. With many facilities in all the fields of interest that a young individual can have, the infrastructure and faculty are really good. From a student's perspective, there is a very good connectivity to other parts of the city. It has many food outlets and general shops near the college premises and even the college canteen food is not bad. However, the hostel is a little expensive but one can stay outside as wel...

The campus is relatively small. Opportunities offered in various fields are what make this college nice. Infrastructure is average. The only issue is that the classes are being taught in buildings that are under construction. There are lots of student clubs that offer students a respite from studies. Departments like CCBD, KORI, etc. offer students good opportunities for research. In-house dance teams Pulse and Sanskriti continually win in various college fests. Placements are probably the ...

A college situated in good locality, having great infrastructure and amazing in campus facilities, PES Institute gave me good experience. Though pedagogy was average like any mediocre engineering college, the strictness and regulations at college were high. This helped mounding the character which was one of the reason that campus placements were really good.

It is a very strict college. There should be a certain level of freedom to bolster creativity and performance. The college is pretty good in terms of placements. It offers competitive opportunities for the students in computer science and information sciences department. Considering other fields, it’s not as fruitful. The faculty and the management are unduly strict.
