In this university, everything is good and systematic. Students can learn a lot from here.
Placements: Around 50% of students are placed in good companies. Most of them have opted for Ph.D. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The average salary package ranges from 6 LPA - 8 LPA. Companies recruit students for research and development, and many companies recruit students from our university. Around 45% of students got internships in many institutions like IITs, TIFR, DRDO, and a few even got in IISc. This course is concentrated on, high-energy physics magnetism, laser optics condensed matter physics electrodynamics, and electromagnetism.
Infrastructure: This has one of the biggest libraries in India. The hostel is not that lavish, but they are enough for a comfortable living. There is ample space for playing. Students have an indoor stadium for shuttle badminton. It has a huge ground for cricket and football. The classrooms are big. The campus is very big, and it is around 850 acres. It has no shortage of space. All buildings are big and spacious. Laboratories are good, and all the facilities are available which are needed. All the equipment in the laboratories are new and up to date. The food served in mess is average. Medical center inside the campus, which are for minor injuries and fever.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and are highly talented. They are very supportive and friendly. The teaching style differs from teacher to teacher, but all are best in their way. The course is very well designed for the students to solve modern-day problems. The course is diversified, and they have a good teacher to make it enjoyable. Students are taken every semester for an industrial visit. The exams are a little tough and students can not get good marks without hard work in the exams in this course. The passing percentage is 50%.
Other: The campus is well connected with the city. There are not many restrictions for the students on the campus. The campus is heaven. It also organised fests and celebrations, as there is around 57 department, and each department arranges an event every year.

Placements: I am from the geology department. This department has zero campus placements as the department does not allow any campus interviews. However, almost 20-30% of students qualify for some competitive exams and join some departments for PhD. Physics and chemistry departments have almost 20-30% campus placements.
Infrastructure: There is a 24x7 Wi-Fi facility in hostels and departments. Classrooms are very good. The college has one of the best libraries in India. There is a campus health centre with 24x7 ambulance service. There are instruments and best facilities in the geology department. Quality of food served in the canteen was not at all good. Hostel life was best in PU. There were clean toilets. Hostel rooms were good. There are very good sports and games meet organised by students.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are very helpful, and they are the best in their field. They conduct two internal exams. We went for a field visit. The student to faculty ratio is good. Teaching methods include labs and use of slides. They provide great exposure. They are student friendly. The course curriculum is very useful.
Other: The college doesn't conduct fest. However, the campus environment is good.

The Pondicherry University which will change your life.
Placements: There is no placement scheme. We will get internship opportunity. After finishing integrated M.Sc. Physics, we can opt research field, etc. research field in Physics has so many opportunities In different part of the world. We can do research about astrophysics, nanophysics, etc.
Infrastructure: Pondicherry University will give good sports opportunities, the mess food is okay, there are many canteens inside campus, various parts of the campus, and the food is good. The library is good, and the reading room is available for students until 3 p.m. The department is also good.
Faculty: Yes, there are so many good faculty members. They give so much good information for the syllabus and the outside syllabus of our course. So. E-exams are tough, but some of them are easy. But the syllabus is good. And. At Pondicherry University, we have enough time to prepare for examinations compared to other central universities.
Other: I chose physics because I love it and I don't get bored when I am studying it. The campus is good. There are students from different parts of the country, so we can communicate with them.
