Good campus and nice facilities.
Placements: The college has great placements and job opportunities in the final year. The highest average package is 18 Lacs per annum, and the lowest average package is around 10 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies include Biocon, Biobase, etc. The top roles offered are in bioinformatics, bioinformatics scientist, and related fields.
Infrastructure: The college provides good facilities like free Wi-Fi and hostel accommodations. Mess food is decent. Classrooms and labs are sufficient, and there are multiple sports grounds. The library is useful for students, and the infrastructure is well-maintained with proper buildings, classrooms, and workshops.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, with higher degrees in their respective subjects. They are helpful, friendly, and provide quality teaching. The course curriculum is relevant, but the semester exams are difficult, with a pass percentage above 75.

Absolutely satisfied with college because of faculty members, placements and the campus .
Placements: Placement is quite good for my university, especially for the MBA. For my course, the highest package was 7 LPA, the average was 4.5 LPA and the lowest package was 4 LPA. The top recruiters for my course are Aganitha, Biocon, etc. The top role offered by my course is that of a junior bioinformatician.
Infrastructure: In my department, lab facilities are damn good, classrooms are there and Wi-Fi speed is also up to the mark. Hostel facilities are normal and cheaper; they provide hostels by charging 950 rupees per year, and for mess food, the charges are 74 rupees per day but the food is not good. The rest of things, like medical facilities and games, are up to par.
Faculty: In my department, professors are very cooperative and always ready to help; the majority of them have postdoctoral degrees, and their teaching style is simple and impressive. My course is job-oriented, based on the demands of the industry. The semester exam is divided into two parts (40 for the internal exam and 60 for the external exam) and the minimum criteria to pass the exam is 50%.
Other: I chose Bioinformatics because its an interdisciplinary course where we apply technical skills like programming and learn about biological data to gain insights. Placements It should be improvised more.

Pondicherry university review.
Placements: The percentage of students getting a placement is very low. Mostly MBA and commerce students get placed; as of our course, there were no core company placements. We are still working on the placement thing but surely in the coming year the scenario will be different.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is very slow, though it is in the bioinformatics department. Apart from the department rest, other facilities are good, well maintained and spacious. Food is mostly not good, but manageable. You can easily get food outside the campus gate if you want to eat something outside .
Faculty: Teachers are good but some are not very helpful. The curriculum needs to be updated at least for my course, and semester exams are not that tough to manage. You can easily score a decent score but for gaining it, you will need to work hard to keep up with the subject, such as bioinformatics.
Other: I chose this considering its wide application, interdisciplinary nature and job-oriented nature.

The infrastructure is indeed good.
Placements: The percentage of awesome placement opportunities at our college is high, with the highest package being 32 Lacs and the lowest package at 12 Lacs offered in our M.Sc. course. Campus placements are provided at IBM, Microsoft, and Infosys, offering roles in Analytics and Development.
Infrastructure: The facilities at our college are excellent, providing numerous opportunities to explore in our Hackathon club. We have Wi-Fi connections, well-equipped labs, and a large library with many useful books. Medical assistance, including first aid, and sports and games are also conducted.
Faculty: The faculty is supportive in both studies and sports, ensuring good teaching quality. They have extensive teaching experience, and the course curriculum is relevant to M.Sc., preparing students for industry problem-solving. Semester exams are challenging to pass, with a passing percentage of 64%.

An average experience because of the hostel food and teachers in 2024; very good campus life.
Placements: Twenty percent have been placed. The average package is said to be 3 to 4 lacs per annum. Allen and other teaching institutes are top recruiters. None of them have gotten internships as of yet. The top roles offered in our course are data scientist, NGS specialist, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: The department has Wi-Fi, computer labs, wet labs, and AC in every classroom. A small department library and an auditorium. Hostel food quality is average, with different dishes every day. The canteen has cheap, good food during working hours. Medical facilities are good in the health center.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and helpful. Teaching quality is good for some teachers, while others might be lacking. The course curriculum is relevant and up-to-date with trends. It makes students ready for the workforce. Semester exams are slightly tough and require thorough studying. The passing percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose the course because it includes both computer science and biology. Events, festivals, and campus crowds are very lively here.
