Q: What CUET score is required to take admission in Delhi University?
Most programs require a minimum score of 60% or higher on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) in order to get admission to Delhi University (DU). In particular, a minimum CUET score of 480 out of a possible 800 is required to get admitted. Although the university takes into account a number of variables throughout the selection process, including extracurricular activities, academic background, and personal statement, reaching this minimal score criterion does not guarantee admission. While the minimum CUET score for each college, subject, and student category may differ, it is generally recommended to strive for a score in the 650–700 range for many DU courses.

Q: Can a Bioinformatics graduate work as a Data Scientist?
Yes, graduates of Bioinformatics courses work as Data Scientists. Both of these disciplines require a similar set of talents, therefore Bioinformatics courses graduates with the above-mentioned skill set can work in Data Science roles in the industry if they can adapt their mindsets to the subject.
Candidates are left with the majority of the Data Science skill set plus a few more if they take the domain-specific requirements out of the Bioinformatics skill set. Most likely, those who transition from bioinformatics to Data Science will need to adjust to their employer's data organisation and distribution environment.
People from Data Science should be able to function in Bioinformatics professions after gaining some domain-specific skills and knowledge if the argument of core skill similarity is valid.
Q: Is a career in a Bioinformatics field a good option?
The choice of a profession in Bioinformatics is entirely up to the individual scientist. For Bioinformatics experts, there are numerous institutions both in India and overseas that provide teaching and research posts. Due to the increasing demand for Bioinformatics scientists, they earn more than the national average.
Bioinformatics can be used in a variety of fields, including the Pharmaceutical, Agricultural, public, and Medical sectors. Recently, Bioinformatics has expanded into oncology in order to find the causative mutations that cause cancer. Typically, outside organisations create computer software, although if competent, bioinformatics scientists can also find work in that industry.

Q: Which is better - Bioinformatics course or Computer Science?
Computational Biology is an interdisciplinary area that uses Computer Science, Statistics, and Mathematics to help address biological problems, whereas bioinformatics integrates Biological knowledge with computer programming and massive quantities of big data.
So, this is the main distinction between computational Biology and Bioinformatics. Contrary to computational Biology, Bioinformatics requires a higher level of technical and programming expertise. The field of Bioinformatics focuses on practical training in the disciplines of Computer Science, Engineering, and Statistics to process data pertaining to Biology.
After candidates graduate, they will learn how to design technologies that enhance Biology even further. If candidates want to study across disciplines, Bioinformatics is seen to be the ideal field. Contrarily, Computer Science deals with hands-on learning to support several sectors and organisations with the addition of common Mathematics and Programming to address issues in the present.
